Ticket sales for this card will not be good.
If they get to the top tier id be shocked.
If tyson is the best in the world briggs would be a good fight back as it would create interest, not tba. If i was warren id pay the cash for charr as tyson beats him easy. Get the ring rust off behind closed doors and come back with a bang

Undefeated but 38yo, not huge and hasn't fought anyone of note. Danny Williams even took him the whole ten rounds.

A genuine world champ. Some decent bargaining tools there if this was to come off. Fury would have then won, what 6 or 7 world titles? He could even get 60/40 cut for a defence againt AJ.

I'm not bothered who it is, the big fights will come sooner or later, just glad Fury is back he's been missed!

Absolutely wrong fighter after such a long layoff. No kabooms.

I'd be confident tyson could do well against anybody not named AJ, Wilder, Ortiz, Pulev, Povetkin in his first fight back but feel they would be better taking baby steps.
Helenius would do the job.

And Joshua never granted him a rematch. Sometimes it just stinks.

Let's see him get through a camp, pre-fight and actual fight and remain mentally fit and sharp then we can start to consider decent opposition

If true this is just the most Warren match up possible, BJS vs Murray, Fury v Johnson how does he expect to sell out venues with these fights as top of the bill? Doesn't surprise me at all, Yarde will fight some Polish guy who went 12 rounds with an ex champion, Davies will fight the guys little brother. Warren really is no competition to Hearn.

Warren is old school but old school doesn't sell tickets. Terry Flanagan is an unbeaten world champion fighting in his home town in an era when boxing is absolutely booming in this country and nobody has heard of him.

There's basically Fury vs Wilder vs Joshua.
All the other fights at heavyweight are pretty meaningless.
Pulev, Povetkin etc don't really spark anyone's interest.
Only Whyte vs Wilder could be interesting, but nothing really beyond that.

I don't get why they haven't slipped him on an undercard, or at least a co-headliner? Would Fury-Johnson 2 really sell out the MEN or gather enough interest?

Joshua sold around 160k tickets for fights against Takam and Parker. It's not the fight everyone wants but he'd still clearly do a massive amount of business against Povetkin. Or for that matter anyone.

Much less interest in his weight category to be fair. He's probably more well known than Flanagan mind you.
The obvious comparison is Crolla.

Oh i agree mate.
On a business level, the casuals love a big lump hitting other big lumps.
But as a boxing fan, they didn't do anything for me.
They were ok but it wasn't Hatton vs Tszyu as far as anticipation goes.
