Maybe Broner upset some people and they want to see him out of the big stage of boxing.

I would think his controversial nature is probably easier to sell than Vargas would be. So if anything they'd want Broner to win, I just don't figure they'll be pulling any strings for him to make that happen. He'll have to do the work himself.

Even here in the UK the media is increasingly seen as something to be suspicious about. Recent media coverage of the Russian spy poisoning and then the Syria strikes is far from convincing due to the sheer amount of contradictory evidence. The scandal over Sadam Hussein's so-called 'weapons of mass destruction' left many people highly sceptical of both the government and the media. The political ramifications of that are still felt today. Luckily we are still able to also get information off the internet (at least for now), and then make up our own minds!

Right now concern over image is the least of Broner's problems. I think he knows that he has few friends left in boxing, hence the additional pressure for tonight's fight. If only he could understand why he has so few friends left inside boxing! It's certainly not a good idea to try to copy Floyd Mayweather Jr unless you're born and raised in a boxing dynasty like he was.

If he loses against Vargas then he may well face an even bigger fight outside the ring in the aftermath. If he wins then he might be able to use success and money as a temporary shield. He once claimed boxing saved him from a life on the streets, but if carries on like this, you can only wonder for his long.

Despite all of this he remains a compelling character and no doubt many will be hoping for his demise. Whatever you want to call him, you can't call him quiet and dull.

Actually that second video is more relevant to the topic thread in the "Off Topic" Forum about the knifing epidemic in London. I understand that only 10% of British cops are even armed. If more cops responded to thugs attacking people with knives like the cops in that 2nd video did by killing the perpetrator there would less of a knifing epidemic.
