There are some potentially good opponents in Canada ... Miljas, Kean, Teslenko but the problem with tackling fellow hot prospects, is that for both protagonists the risk/ reward ratio is unfavourable.
Much better fight Hubeaux, then maybe someone like Hammer, or maybe even renew his acquaintance with Kubrat Pulev if he isn't tied up with Dillian Whyte, assuming Pulev is still interested in an opponent with a heartbeat these days.
Gym confirmed they aren't interested in Kean who has thé highest profile after Rivas... They are too far progression wise for thé fight to happen now. They are going for a top10 ranking with wbc which they thought they'd already have.

Kean too dangerous for Rivas, too much of a step up at this time, IMHO.

I remember watching him years ago in the Olympics against Pulev. He gave Pulev all he could handle in a close fight. He was young and inexperienced too, I thought he’d be a better pro than Pulev.
He’s wasted it so far.

I'm sure he does but he'll need to do better than that for the ranking. Oh wait ... it's the WBC who's his manager/ promoter?

Too dangerous for each other in a 'nothing' fight. Might be different if baubles are at stake of course.
