Hughie is unproven with zero power
Whyte as pointed out gets too much credit for losing convincingly to Joshua.
Joyce and Dubois are question marks at this early in their careers.
Chisora has lost every time he steps up being domestic level

Joshua is the only stand out amongst them.
The division is average when excluding Joshua

Yeah I know. I'd think there could be a few more reasonable stepping stones he could take before pushing him in there with the Top 10. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm sure the Top 10 would be good for him to be facing within 6 months, but I'd assume he could get some fights between guys 15-30 range first.

Just shows how misleading records can be. Joyce's opponents have been awful, two of them morbidly obese. Uncountable fighters have fought tougher guys.

It's perfectly possible that it's too soon for him. But I don't think he has time to wait. He has to go for it now, and hope he's up to it. Waiting is simply not an option. When you get into the big fights they come slow, for business reasons.

It's the trade off. If you want a gold medal, then staying in the amateurs until you are 30 massively increase your chances of that as most quality boxers are long gone into the pros by then. But if you then want to turn pro at 30, you have to rush.
