Thank you Gil. This warning is long overdue and I have no idea why it's taken so long.
We kinda allow Buzz to have dominion over the Boxing History section, but he's basically dropped the ball on this one so...guess it's up to me.
Alp has been a huge part of this forum and as much as I don't like "I'm leaving" posts it will drop the quality to see him go. It's too bad that we've lost several good posters to save a bad one. I just appreciate you actually making an effort. I stopped posting in this section some time ago because of it.
Yeah. At this point it's just a "For the greater good of the forum" kinda thing.

And even now I'm not just gonna ban Kalan. I'm gonna give him a fair chance to clean up his act first. If he can't or won't...well...

Probably the only thing a bit more sketchy than a series of odd opinions is someone feeling that if only those odd opinions would go away, or be squelched..... my presence could be sustained.

But as long as those odd opinions are allowed, I must walk away.

Feels like a "Shane" moment.

Alp....I wish you well and I wish you would reconsider....it just seems wrong somehow.....though you are simply exercising your freedom to express what you feel....... which is never wrong. But the passive request seems to be....."squelch odd opinions, and I would be more comfortable here. Which is often the case for many of us....but should that guide things as a rule?

seems odd....though I'm probably alone on that score.

Sorry it has come to this.....

Kalan.....your series of unfortunate opinions comes with a price.
Come back Shane!...come back!

"Unfortunate opinions?" .... They don't line up with your opinions?.... Why even have the forum if we all agree???

I'd like to know an opinion that I haven't backed with data and facts... I don't need to buy into the myths of "The Greatest" .... "The Sugarman" .... "Homicide Hank" .... "Smokin' Joe".... "The Hitman" and myriad other legends who've all lost quite a few fights and some didn't finish in the best condition financially or physically... They seemed to take quite a few punches to the head....often from massive underdogs... But often self-proclaimed Internet experts don't fairly assess undefeated or finely skilled boxers who are trotting the boards at the present time... In fact they're often down right dismissive.
