From what I understand, Tarver failed another PED test, yet again. Just retire already....

I'm more concerned about Tarver's health than anything else. Pro boxing only months short of your 50th birthday just isn't a good investment on your future well-being.
He's never been knocked out, though.

You don't need to get knocked out to get damaged.

According to Rafael Tarver couldn't get a license because he is suspended in New Jersey.
States that regulate boxing are required to honor suspensions from other states.
Doesn't sound like Tarver failed another drug test but he had to have known about the suspension and was trying to circumvent the rules by fighting on the other coast

I had read on one of the sites that Kauffman, in an interview, said Tarver had failed again. Not sure to the degree of Kauffman being accurate or not, but read it about a week ago. Then the news of the fight opponent being changed. Rafael could be correct though, crap fight either way, IMO.

And yet, there are boxers with dozens of knockout defeats. Antonio Tarver is one of the fighters with the least evidence of brain health risks. He is still among the most articulate boxers at age 50, never been KO'ed, and if you have any evidence that he's ever suffered a severe concussion or brutal head trauma outside of the boxing ring, please share it, don't keep it to yourself. There's no good reason, based in fact, to be more worried about Tarver than other boxers, because like 95% of them are going to have more concussions by the time they retire than Tarver has had. Pacquiao, on the other hand, has been knocked out cold and been in many brutal wars with the three Mexicans. Pacquiao has boxed 168 more rounds than Tarver, been involved in many more 12-round title fights, been brutally KO'ed more times, has had a longer-spanning professional career by 5 years, has fought more times, and is less of a slick defensive boxer than Tarver.

Brain injury doesn't play favourites. But fighting in the pros when you are close to 50 has to enhance your chances of finding it.

I wonder if Tarver could get licensed in the UK if the opportunity to fight Fury arises.
Fury has said that Tarver is on his bucket list.

Does the UK recognize suspensions from other jurisdictions?

Kauffman looks like hes ready for the stupidest looking beard challenge.
I have no interest in the Alexander match but I would like to see Kauffman against some of the raising prospects. Line in Joyce, Dubois, Teslenko, Dychko, Sirenko, Hrgovic or Kownacki and I will surely watch
For me the best match on the card is Hunter vs Kiladze. Kiladze is pretty good. Will be interesting to see how Hunter does against him. Only thing I don't understand is why did he move up to HW. He did quite well against Usyk and could be a major player in CW. I don't see him going too far in HW...

Kiladze is also a career cruiserweight. Should be an evenly matched fight.
I agree with Hunter. The cruiserweight division is gonna be staying lively in the next few years. Especially with either Gassiev and/or Usyk moving up. There will be titles up for grab.

They are pretty close to same size. Kiladze was 220 for Kownacki. Hunter was 227 for woods. Kiladze is one and half inch taller.
Should be good and competitive match
I will be impressed if Hunter can dominate or stop Kiladze.
