And? If Pulev beats Whyte then Joshua fights Pulev. It's not like Hearn is going out of his way to avoid that fight happening.

But didn't Wlad already beat both those guys years ago? And Fury schooled Wlad and AJ chinned him! Who can get excited about Pulev and Pov now?

The depth of the heavyweight division is such that these represent legitimate top six heavyweights.

These two will be replaced in time though if neither happen. Pulev and Povetkin are decent challenges and then there will be contenders coming through.
Give it a couple of years and it’ll be Yoka, Hrgovic and the likes, then maybe Dubois and that generation etc

The rules are at fault mickey and are made in such a way that they can either be taken advantage of or provide a fairly logical reason for avoiding them.. I'm not defending anyone, I think the rules need looked at but I'm not holding my breath
