Probably Vazquez. They were mostly on the slide at the time, however Kelly had only lost once and they were still belt holders.
I saw the Johnson/Beleno fight live prior to his fight with Hamed, he was dropped and looked a bit shaky but still came back to win over the big punching Columbian.
Medina was still contesting and winning titles after losing to Hamed.
Robinson - Was on an 8 fight title winning streak, mostly by stoppage. Cynically fed to Hamed because FW couldn't really promote him further up. Win/win for FW.
Lawal/Alicia - Couple of gimme defences (I think I have seen Lawal described as "hapless" more than once)
Medina - Often overlooked due to lack of power but he was a decent featherweight and had been champ twice already (and would do it twice more after)
Molina - Not sure from where in the WBO rankings he was plucked but that's FW for you. He fought Morales a couple of fights later.
Johnson - Decent operator, on a run of 12 IBF fights, getting a bit old and creaky but he was still champ
Hardy - Decent featherweight, was EBU holder but blown away (think one punch broke his nose and cheekbone)
Cabrera - Fought some decent names, not sure where they found him
Badillio - Probably Hamed's best "pure" boxing performance, he'd had a close fight with Johnson but gulf in class here apparent. Saw it live.
Kelly - Only had one loss to this point but had his bubble burst by the Mexican Gonzalez but was never really the same after this and lost all his big fights. It was Hamed's US coming out party and a decent brawl
Vazquez - However you slice it, he was a 3 weight champ and was in effect the WBA champ (they would later GIVE Hamed a WBA belt..) and despite being old was still dangerous. Didn't really come back from this loss
McCullough - I felt it was a bit of a cynical fight, he'd not really had any wins at 126 but bookended this fight with losses to Zaragoza and Morales and should probably have got the win vs DZ. Saw it live, was a decent event but a bit of a drab fight.
Ingle - Not sure what he'd done to get the fight, probably another promotionally easy-ish fight to make and was unbeaten and an easy sell. He went on to prove he was world class. Saw it live from ringside, was a decent fight.
Soto - He'd beaten long-time champ Espinosa which was the fight we all wanted to see
Bungu - Long time IBF champ at 122 (unbeaten in 14 title fights?), massively outmatched
Sanchez, ama name but not much cop as a pro in world title terms. Got stretched in style. Practically killed in his last pro bout against dangerman JMJ
I dunno, that's not a bad ledger, if you break it down in terms of title fights prior to facing him it's highly impressive.
