When you watch these crowd fights, just look at the cowardly wankers who take cheap shots. They are stood away from the action until the one who's getting a kicking is hurt, then the jump forward to launch their assault.

Good point.
Possibly equally valid to point out that INSIDE the ring a cynical mismatch was taking place where a guy with no chance was brought in to face an unbeaten giant. Mismatches are a part of the sport, it's nothing new but in a way there is a parallel here between what happened inside the ring and outside of it.

Unfortunately in this world people fight, if you've got some sense you will fight for money, these dibs fight for free.

Dinlos mate the lot of em if the police look into any of this and get hold of the cctv they could get banged up. Of course there are exceptions but getting banged up for something that ain’t trying to earn you money is stupid in my opinion

I attend at least one boxing show a week, mainly ams. I don't get my info from the Internet, so, yes, I probably do see more than most.

The kid on the right at 31 secs in. Only one throwing decent punches.
It don't happen at football because you have only 2 sides, the old bill are sh!t hot and will have your door off shortly after, and everybody's usually kettled in for big games anyway.
Boxing is hundreds of groups of Jonny Bravos. Maybe an actual police presence will be a deterrent?
Hard sentences are the answer. Worked for football. Nobody wants to do 2 years for a scuffle at the boxing.

Problem is the promoter would have to pay for the police like they do at football.
It needs looking at.
Proper Door Supervisors throughout the crowd would help, rather than the strewards they have, but they cost a lot more than the stewards do.
That said, 50% of SIA badged door supervisors are fornicating melons now anyway.

The police are heavily financed and subsidised when its comes to policing football from the clubs themselves and the local authority. The premier league puts a huge onus on the clubs to manage security as a top priority. Plus the premier league rewards the police/prosecution financially for seeking football banning orders. Plus the biggest issue is that they can predict arrival times etc due to kick off. With boxing it is 4/5hr event with people arriving in the area constantly.

Personally, I've been threatened off them a few times. I caught two trying to steal metal out ma back garden and when I dug them up they threatened to shoot and slash me They think they can do what they want and nobody can say anything to them!

Just spoke to a colleague whos mate is good friends with Francis Warren, he (my mate) was there Saturday night and close to where it was kicking off. He said he felt on edge all night as there was friction most of the night.
He said there were people in there who had those arm bands on you generally see at festivals etc, you know to show you are supposed to be there. He said these people had no seats as the band's said, no seats, and were just sitting where they liked. This was causing issues as people were just sitting where they wanted. My mate went to the bar and came back to find 2, let's say not so nice individuals sat in their seats, and they said they could sit anywhere. After a little altercation these 2 people pissed off when my mate said these seats are actually Francis Warren seats
My mates first live show and I don't think he was impressed with the nights action.
He said there were people in there who had those arm bands on you generally see at festivals etc, you know to show you are supposed to be there. He said these people had no seats as the band's said, no seats, and were just sitting where they liked. This was causing issues as people were just sitting where they wanted.
