I like how no one has backed up their opinion. Need someone to try me so I can smack them down.
It's an interesting discussion.
Not at all. We're talking two p4p fighters in the same era that have been dominating opponents.Taansend wrote: ↑13 Jun 2018, 22:01It's an interesting discussion.
Crawfords best wins over Garcias best wins.
Broner hasn't convincingly beaten a top (I mean TOP) opponent since Demarco in 2012. So a win over him isn't that great based on recent results. It's a bit like saying Trevor Berbeck is better than Lennox Lewis because he beat Muhammad Ali.
But Garcia has barely been troubled.
But has Crawford beaten a better opponent than Garcia has? If Postol whacks Taylor out that might move him up. Gamboa was brilliant for a while a bit faded by the time he fought Bud.
Neither one has an amazing win but both have looked dominating against decent opposition.
As much as I like Crawford (& Garcia) Arum saying Crawford is better than Sugar Ray Leonard is proper f*cking nonsense.
Hopefully we'll see Garcia v Lomachenko in the Spring. Winner of that deserves Top Spot - unless Crawford beats Spence or Thurman![]()
F*ck it, who cares, as long as they fight![]()
Thanks for the measured response. Nice to talk to a real boxing fan.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑14 Jun 2018, 22:15Not at all. We're talking two p4p fighters in the same era that have been dominating opponents.Taansend wrote: ↑13 Jun 2018, 22:01It's an interesting discussion.

By the way, finally someone who actually backs his position. Pretty funny all the disagreement that no one has tried to even come up with a rational argument.
Not only Broner but Salido is a better win than anything on Crawford's resume. Salido went on to beat Lomachenko and arguably beat Bandido Vargas.
Crawford's resume is deep, but he hasn't had a fighter that went on to do something in the division. He came in during a weak era at 135 and 140. Postol has that chance, and if he beats Taylor, that win gets better. Other than that, Beltran is the only one that has actually made moves since.
To be honest, Broner wouldn't look as good, but I think he goes undefeated if you put him against the guys on Crawford's resume. Who would be his toughest challenges, Beltran and Horn?
