But he doesn't have the ppv stars , so whats he to do , easy build fighters up and make them ppv fighters , problem is he now has 2 of them fighters on the show that now demand big money , ala , Whyte and Brooks , But there not good enough to fight anyone he still has to be selective to keep the wins , Its gonna get worse for him when he has to supply even more fighters for this new American model
.

Over time I think ppv is going to damage boxing more so than anything else
We're a long, long way from 13 million tuning in to watch Frank Bruno vs Jose Ribalta on BBC1.

The cost will go down but rather than paying a subscription for a general sports channel, people will pay for the fights/football matches/races etc that they want to see.
That would be more fare.

That sounds like the kind of hyperbolic nonsense Mick Hennessy would come out with.

If it does good numbers it's because the casual fans are brainwashed. They watch sky sports news an have average fighters like Whyte hyped. None of then heard of Whyte before the aj fight now he's a ppv star despite barely winning a round against aj ridiculous but each to their own. I don't understand why they don't just watch wwe instead

You can call them casuals but they are filling arenas and buying PPV, the fighters are getting big exposure and getting paid. Could go back to fighting in town halls and leisure centres just for the hard core.
