Munguia is hardly the seasoned fighter that Canelo is.

It might be more difficult for the Mexican than most predict.

I thought Smith drew the Williams rematch, he wasn't great but he did show more of a boxing side than usual and i'd imagine that's gotta be the same tactics against Munguia, Smith fight well on the inside and throws a wicked body shot but i'd advise him to stay well away from Munguia and try box on the outside, hopefully Munguia's a bit crude?? The punch variety against Ali suggests otherwise mind

Who knows? Beefy's a tough cookie and loves a tear up but whatever gameplan he comes up with I can see him getting stopped from a dangerous hombre

Smiff winning would make things interesting in the UK while Munguia winning (& besting Canelo's result) would make him a BIG name in an exciting division in North America.

I’m Surprised - it looks a great fight: the young untested puncher who’s come upon a title very early in his career, against the tough seasoned ex title holder.

I watched the Mexican win his title and he looks a beast, But looking at his record he’s been knocking over tomato cans, until he got to Ali, who while brave as hell, is not exactly the sturdiest.

Smith takes a good shot - and it looks like he’ll need to - but the Mexican is very inexperienced and very open to counters - and if you doesn’t get rid of the Liverpudlian early, it could get very very interesting. Smith has a mean streak and he might not think he’s finished just yet..

a lot of people seem to be writing Smith off with no chance, and I must admit he looked a bit uncertain at the press conference (??) but I’m really looking forward to this one - let’s see how good Munguia really is.

Yeah Smith is hard to like, I never warmed to him with all that smirking while he battered overmatched opponents, but got to give him his dues, he’s shown balls with taking on the 2 Mexicans in the US.

He looks a bit subdued in the build up, hopefully he’s looking to catch the overconfident Munguia a bit unprepared ..

I don’t have any of the channels these days, can’t stand Sky and BN is shot, and not got around to BT yet, my dad has it though so I’ll tune in and watch it tomorrow morning on my lap top hooked up to TV

Agreed. Smirking at overmatched opponents plus the tediously annoying Paul Smith means I just can't root for him here. His conduct around the Williams fights and even the jimmy Kelly fight was also poor. Gotta hope for a humbling brutal KO by Munguia.
