Mikey needs that Nomaschenko work.

I agree, Spence has more interesting options against the guys of his cathegory. While Garcia can take the 3rd belt in his weight and then fight Loma for the undisputed championship.
Loma vs Mikey is the fight I want to see too. :TU:

Two top level fighters, the size/weight does not match up.

Spence has belts to pursue at 147.

Garcia should go after Loma.

Just a coincidence that he ignores the two Top Rank fighters in Loma/Bud as possible opponents? No. Dude wants nothing to do with Arum obviously which sucks because Loma is the fight we all want.

I will believe Garcia wants the fight when the bell rings and he's actually in the ring with Spence. Assuming he does want the fight, I guess he either believes he can win or just wants a big money fight. Garcia could fight Spence, it would be a career high pay day I'd assume, then go back to 135 or 140. No harm done if he was to lose. He's the naturally smaller guy and everybody would expect him to lose. The 135 big money fight would still be there with Loma, while if he lost to Loma, the big money fight with Spence at 147 wouldn't be there any longer.

In reality Loma at 135 makes more sense. So would a Pacman fight at 140. Fight Jessie Vargas at 147 to get acclimated to the weight.

Yeah it could be a business-calculated risk. Losing against the most feared welter ain't gonna affect Mikey's stocks but it would probably gain him more fans and exposure. Anyway the fight with Loma would be ideal but I think Mikey has a problem with cutting weight. He looked drained at the weigh in with Easter Jr.

I think Spence would really damage him, it is a fight he should avoid..Probably make more money fighting Lomachenko and take less damage.

Lomanchenko would be more money i think and obviously less risky, but he's with top rank.
He has a much bigger profile right now than Spence. Non-boxing fans have no idea who he is.

I'm pushing for a Pacquiao fight at 147. No catchweight.

Pac's old and in decline, although hardly washed up. The easy Matthysse win was just an illusion. Matthysse is both old and finished.

A win over Pac would create more stir about Mikey than a win over either Lomachenko or even Spence.

Pac is a legend in not just boxing but sports. Neither Spence or Loma are household names.

Beat Pac convincingly for a mega payday and Garcia instantly becomes one of boxing's most celebraged fighters.

Beat even Lomachenko or Spence, and the feat is largely forgotten by casuals within a few days.
