It was expecting him to have signed more at this point but it’s still early days. I think he needs one big name and others will follow.

No - apparently we’ll get the same number as last year on UK shows plus 16 additional shows from the DAZN deal in the US.

Just did some quick research..

DAZN first launched in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland on 10 August 2016

It’s pronounces ‘da-zohn’..

With a billion dollars to play with, i find it odd several of the big names have gone on record saying his offer to them was ok, but nothing to write home about, and on a par with other promoters offers. Apparantly he was going to throw the cheque book at the likes of Garcia etc. Something seems a bit off to me. I guess its still early days then?
