Eddie isn’t famous with telling the truth.... AJ was boxing him instead of Parker, wasn’t he?

Sour grapes from Eddie. They didn't have the balls to take the fight when they had a fantastic offer. So Fury leapfrogged them and has netted a fortune instead.

The winner of Fury vs Wilder is the number one heavyweight in the world.

How is the winner of a guy who has only fought a midget and an old man in 2years v a guy who has avoided every single tough challenge the number 1 heavyweight over the owner of 3 of the 4 major belts, only person to have fought in a unification fight against a fellow title holder.

Nope, Joshua is number 1 right now. At best, the winner of any Fury/Wilder fight is a claimant on the number 1 spot.

Whoever wins certainly needs to fight Joshua though.

ESPN's Dan Rafael says that the proposed date of 8th December is a nonstarter as it clashes with a major UFC PPV event (UFC 231 in Toronto) he reports that Finkel says that the fight is more likely to be on November 10 or November 17th.

http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/2 ... ight-close

World Boxing News say the Wilder/Fury fight is pencilled in for November

http://www.worldboxingnews.net/20180806 ... -mandatory

So that would be even less time for Fury to get in shape.

I'd have preferred to see him test himself against someone on the fringe like Duhaupas or Charr first in December and then fight Wilder in like April next year.
We've waited long enough for Fury.

He either has to put up or shut up: If this is true, he is about to put up & I applaud him for it.

I'm had my fill of him telling us how he's going to beat Wilder & Joshua; I want to see him actually doing it (or trying to).

It's possible Fury could get a fight in October, before a December clash with Wilder. I'd take it, if I were him. Then again in a recent interview Fury pointed out that from Cunningham to Klitschko he only had three fights, which is very inactive, so he said he doesn't need alot of fights to be in world-class level ability.

This fight should be for the #1 Heavyweight in the world, being that both men are not only undefeated but hold titles (like it or not Fury is the lineal champion) and team Joshua refused to fight Wilder whereas Fury took it no questions asked.

I still think it's probably a PR stunt with both camps on board, if however it's true and an unfit Fury does fight him, Hearn and AJ aren't gonna look too good. If Fury won it would piss all over their bonfire too. I'd imagine when the time was right Hearn would want AJ in with both Fury and Wilder whilst they are undefeated and that won't happen now, again if it's true.

Fury is now ranked #5 in the WBC. So who knows this may all be legit and fury is going to go and fight wilder.

I mean anyone else not fighting for 2.5yrs, the fighting Albanias 2nd best cruiserweight and a bloke who got KOed by kingpin Johnson wouldn't be considered for a ranking. Especially as it neither have WBC trinkets on the line.

its funny how no one was complaining when klitschko came strait off a loss to challenge for a belt.

Does he not have "emeritus" status like V Klitschko did with the WBC because he gave up the belt rather than was stripped?

He never held the WBC belt. So couldn't have emeritus status.

I think many were perplexed as to how he could fight for his old belts. Maybe he had a deal with the WBA which was vacant stating he would the next fighter if fury didn't meet in a rematch
