A-ha that was only if he won. Apparently they both looked like shit. I already knew that about Williamson but it seems Klitschko may aswell hang them up now unless he wants to become a stepping stone. Big shame.

Cor, old Sven was a real hard man, eh? Former soldier. I read about him almost getting killed by an assassin when he was bodyguarding someone. His charge got killed I think, and Sven shot off like a rabbit. Good decision! Is he still doing the doors these days?

Really.... blimey! Where was that? I remember Sven, don't know him but he boxed for Broadstairs when I was at Ramsgate. Quite arrogant if I remember correctly. Spindly guy before he went into the army and bulked up though. Boxed Alexander about five times in the amateurs (think he only beat him once).

Was a strong, fit, solid but limited pro who gave Howard Eastman quite a decent scrap but was stopped in the 10th of a Southern Area middleweight title fight if I remember correctly. Also unlucky against Jason Matthews when he got cut.

He's got a lot of decent names on his record but he seeme to fall short when put in against very good domestic opposition but did splatter unbeaten Scottish prospect Stephen Wilson and Willie Quinn in back-to-back fights.

Not sure what he's up to now though.

last i heard Sven was still into bodyguard work....

saw his fight with Elvis...

looked like he had been to the pharmacy and bulked up, looked great but wasnt strong enough against naturally bigger guys

It's no secret of his trouble with hitmen. He even gave an interview to the Sun, if I remember correctly. Nice, polite fella. A really hard man.

It wasn't, I messed up my post.

The difference between the left hooks Mayorga was taking there and the one that Tak was KOd with.....Mayorga saw the punch coming, Takaloo didn't but. But Mayorga does take a punch better as well...no doubt. I cant think of a better chin than Mayorga's...obviously there are a fair few on par....but to take so many HUGE shots was incredible.
