But looking at the video and comparing it to the places I eat at, Nando's appears to be 5 star worthy.

It's one step above KFC. The video is VERY blurry.

Wilder's ability to laugh it off as being "good for the promotion" leads me to believe it may have been staged, but like you say, it was genius either way.

But that doesnt appear to be Wilder slipping on the chicken grease because his outfit was black. The guy who slipped on the grease wearing an all-red track suit was not Wilder. (Despite Michael Benson misidentifying him as Wilder in the text below the video.)

I have a hunch the lead-up to Fury-Wilder is going to have LOTS of craziness and could be one of the most entertaining pre-fight promos in a long time!!

If you were American or clicked on more than boxing news and Pornhub, you’d realize that a white guy hurling fried chix at an African American is more probable to be an act of racism than not one. If done in America by 2 top athletes, it would cause a huge stir.

I don't even understand the Brit/dental floss connection.

I suppose if you want to spend the time, you could suspect some racist reason was behind the chicken-throwing chaos caused by a white guy and aimed at a black guy.

But when I learn that Nando's is a chicken place, then it seems pretty innocuous. Apparently shrimp is not available there for throwing.

Of course if Saunders had tossed a watermelon at Wilder, then a lot of alarms might be triggered.

And if the whole thing is strictly a staged promotional stunt, then who really cares?

Anything to help Pip. The teeth whitening and straightening thing does seem to be making inroads into the UK as do most things American eventually. Nowadays we even get "trick or f*cking treat FFS"

Most of the outrageous stuff that goes on outside the ring in boxing is a "jackass stunt."

Those kind of things don't happen in the real world. Unless the real world is the WWE.
