No prob. I think we'd all agree too that Wlad would be absolutely amazing at Chess Boxing for another decade to come if he so chose.
Him being the sport that he is, I can imagine him taking it easy on guys during the Boxing portion of the match because he'd want to beat them via the Checkmate method instead to show that he doesn't have to rely on his OBVIOUS physical advantages to win.

Re: Will Klitschko return?
I think many boxers could benefit tactically from playing chess and chess players physically from boxing.
Lewis, like both Klitschko's is a big fan of the game and once said, "When someone calls you a name you want to punch them out… but chess teaches you to think through the next moves."
Terry Marsh was always a strategist inside the ring. I think the Klitschko's do tend to get underestimated because of this cerebral style. Like in the case of Gene Tunney, their style doesn't always appeal to the wider public who tend to favour action and violence rather than well thought out strategy. Luckily the two sometimes collide as in Joshua v Klitschko.
That was one of those rare occasions in boxing when both men won.

True there wouldn't be too much glory for him on the boxing part. How good a chess player is he? I know that the old CCCP used to make chess part of the school curriculum, but I don't know if even Russia attaches the same importance to chess-literacy these days, and for all I know the Ukraine might regard this as a historically Russian driven policy, and distance themselves from it. Not that this affects how good Wlad is necessarily of course.
Any of our Eastern correspondents shed any light on this?
I'm rather warming to the idea of a Klitschko swan-song against Fujimoto san.

Re: Will Klitschko return?
Now his marriage is over he is no doubt itching to get back in the ring. I hope being a sparring partner scratches that itch, although a Fujimoto fight or something as someone here mentioned would be a nice send-off. Always good to finish with a W.
