I think Joshua and Wilder both stop him, but since his ‘thing’ is outpointing people with defensive skills, he's never beating Joshua in the UK. He'd have to win every round clearly to sneak it. Not impossible, but I wouldn't put more than a couple of quid on it.
You're underestimating Frankie Warren.

So sure? Watching tonight I don’t think Joshua is busy enough to beat Fury.

Though he’d have to care less about getting hurt of course.
Fury's a joke that built his reputation against a guy that didn't come to fight. He gets flattened by Wilder in December. You can take it to the bank.
he battered chisora in the 2nd find , who is still very active in the heavyweight division
Whilst Chisora is never remotely on the same level as Joshua is now, that was the best performance of Fury's career .
Since the lay off and comeback he's looked a shadow of his former self and I think he is done.
Mind you I didn't think he had a cat in hell's chance against Klitschko .

I won't argue one thing: Fury would be ahead at the time. I'm sure he'd play with Joshua until AJ settled into the fight and started chasing and unloading. My hunch is that Fury's gonna run out of ideas when he can't dissuade other big, high-ranking heavies from pursuing with KO intent (like Klitschko when he woke up in R12). Only if they smother their work, which is likely from Joshua for the most part. But it only takes one punch.

I had it 4-2 Povetkin at the time of the stoppage.

It’s interesting that AJ/Hearn don’t really seem to be considering a Fury victory either. If they had any sense, they’d wait until Wilder & Fury have actually fought (or until the show inevitably falls apart without ever happening) before calling Wilder out again.

Fastcar's trying to get Wilder on the cheap.

If he does stop Fury, that is. Wilder's price plummets if Fury wins, and he'll wish he'd signed up now. But if I were Wilder, I'd hold out for the stronger post-Fury hand before talking. It's too soon for a deal if that fight really is going ahead.

Povetkin was winning that. 4-2.

I can guarantee if Fury fights Joshua he's gonna get robbed. The corrupt judges want to protect the golden goose. It's shit like this that makes me sick of boxing. Time after time fighters get screwed over.

How can anyone have Joshua winning that?

Personaly i had it
rnds 1-2 ............. Povetkin
rnds 3-4 ............. AJ
rnd 5.................. Draw
rnd 6 ....................... AJ

Although i will admit 5-6 were close ., may change my mind when i watch again

Regards Fury ---AJ ,,, hard one but i think if Fury comes to fight he gets ko'd ,,, If he runs he loses on points , you don't win by coming to survive , you actually have to score punches at some time , think it will be a fizzler actually , bit like Hughie and Parker

... Wilder AJ , theres one to look forward too ,,, Aj outboxes him , easy , possibly ko's him if he lands clean , BUT Wilder can ko AJ at any given moment ,

Had it 3-3 going into the 7th and wouldnt argue with a point either way.

Think Joshua under estimated Povetkin slightly, keeping a low guard at times thinking he would have been able to time him as he lunged in which wasnt really working for him.

Povetkins movement and output was decent for a man at this stage of his career. He made a good account of himself.

Joshua never impressed me much but still got the job done, showed decent patience and confidence in his ability to be able to change the fight if the opportunity came along.

Hopefully we see Joshua next against the winner of Fury v Wilder.

Fight was never going 12 so kind of irrelevant.

I had it 4-1 Povetkin with a shared round that could of went either way.. It may have been different been there and judging is subjective but I though all but 1 round was easy to score.. It was the same with the Klitscho fight I had Wlad up and the Parker fight was razor thin.. I think money talks in boxing and judges and referees seem to be on the take.. Okolie got 3 points off last night and continued to punch and grab he should of been disqualified just watch Victor Loughlins face every time it happens.. Meant to be the noble sport no chance..

Last night's fight exposed the worst thing about boxing. Povetkin couldn't have done any better than he did. Against what many people believe is the best heavyweight of the last decade.

There was a couple of rounds where Joshua was unable to do anything against Povetkin.
Yet we get score cards like these? How long it going to be until the rules of boxing are changed? The away fighter needs to win by stoppage.

Problem is there's never any come backs. The judge who scored it 59-55 should be taken to a tribunal. Made to watch the fight explain how and why he scored that round.

Boxing scoring need a real overall regulator. It's like having the Irish, French and Australian horses coming over here and telling them they need to win by 5 lengths to get the victory.

Not the point. Doesn’t realy give Povetkin credit. Kind of like the official scorecards for the Joshua-Parker fight didn’t give Parker any credit.

Klitschko scorecards were bad too, only 1 scored it for Wlad before the final round.

Yup!

It’s also like Wilder-Ortiz.. it’s worse then the favourite fighters ends up winning anyway..

I had it level going into the 7th. I like Povetkin's style.

Hats off to Joshua that's Wlad, Parker and Povetkin on his resumé. Throw in Takam, Whyte and Brezeale and he is putting a it's starting to look like a strong record.

When he let's his hands go I don't see anyone living with him.

A lot of hate here and bias.

Questioning the Parker cards? He did close to nothing.

Joshua was a round up, a round down or level going into the 7th, 4-1 is crazy. Povetkin landed 3-4 decent shots in every round but overall wasn't dominating. Joshua was tactical to the body and dropped his left gradually appeared to be strategy, which worked. Povetkins pressure wasn't calculated as portrayed and it didn't seem like AJ was doing less than working Povetkin out. After a tough first couple of rounds I felt Joshua gradually got on top from that point.

They also claimed Povetkin used doping while in reality he never did, just to help Americans avoiding losing, so it's not really a reliable source.

I tend to score rounds as a draw and had it 59-57 to AJ. Drawn rounds in 1&5, pov took 2&3, AJ 4&6.

If not allowed to score drawn rounds, I'd have 3-3 of around 57-57.

I think the first was a draw because despite the big shot at the end which wobbled AJ, AJ landed some solid shots throughout the round. 2&3 were clear pov, 4&6 were clear AJ. And 5 was a round that could have gone either way.

Whoever had it wider than 2 rounds is a dick.

well two rounds a piece (pov 2 and 3; aj 4 and 6) is 38-38 assuming these were 10-9 rounds

then the pair of even rounds in 1 and 5 comes to 20-20

add those and its 58-58. you cant have aj up 2 if he and pov both won 2 rounds then drew the others.

i could be missing something though
