What is oxilofrine?

Oxilofrine is a stimulant of the amphetamine class that was developed to treat hypotension (low blood pressure) in people who do not respond to conventional treatment. Oxilofrine is the prescription name for methylsynephrine, hydroxyephrine and oxyephrine. It is not widely used in the UK and is not a licensed drug in the US. Some firms use oxilofrine, in the form of synephrine, in so-called sports nutritional supplements as it is thought to allow people to burn fat faster and lose weight. Synephrine is a natural component of Citrus aurantium, otherwise known as bitter orange, but it can also be synthesised or extracted from plant sources.
What are its effects?

Oxilofrine is thought to increase adrenaline production, boosting endurance, focus, alertness and heart rate and increasing oxygenation of the blood.

Yup these two also tried to decongest their noses. Let's blame it on that nose decongestant.
Those two you mention were caught using it in competition you fool

Yeh, that's illegal :OhYes:

Guys, everyone who gets caught has an excuse lined up. You really think Canelo is eating tainted meat? :brick:

Now, I don't think this fight should be canceled because I think they're all roiding. If Andrade really is working with Conte, he's already suspicious. It's an even playing field now as far as I'm concerned.

Wow this is just crazy stuff! You can't look s.hity against a guy like Artur Akavov and like FMJ against Lemieux without a little help.
Put a bit of context around these two fights you’ve brought up and you might learn a thing or two about the performances that followed. You’re sounding like a noob right now.

Are you able to comment on previous VADA or any other agency test results in Saunders past?

Well that's a ludicrous agreement by VADA....

It basically says you can never get ill..... EVER!!

Not in competition or out of competition.... EVER!

Because if you do and have any type of medication whatever your a drug cheat -period!

Even if it's for a cold and your not competing.

Way to go VADA

You basically have to be a robot not to fail a test at some point.

Now roll up, roll up.... All athletes must sign this agreement :yay:
All that is irrelevant - Saunders and his team knew they had signed up to VADA rules, they would have been perfectly capable of checking what they could/couldn’t take. Saunders got caught using PEDs, simple as that. People trying to make excuses for him are just a joke, and exactly why PED use isn’t treated seriously in boxing.

These can also be used as a masking agent. Seems you need to take your own advice.

By the way, it does make sense that Saunders was losing to Akavov and goes razor close against Eubank Jr. and then goes on to dominate Lemiuex. Very likely he's been roiding.
So he masked other drugs by failing with trace amounts of clen? Surely trace amounts of clen is not gonna mask any serious amounts of gear and how did he time it? Are you suggesting he was on large amounts of other peds then when the testing agents knocked on his door he swallowed 1/50th of a clen tablet to mask 2g of test and half a gram of trenbolone?

I know a bit about peds and for anybody who thinks clen is a wonder drug it's really not. Take a course and see what happens

Thevarious authorities just need to be a bit more harmonised on what a fail is

Even if the nasal spray story is true, it’s a lack of awareness from Saunders and his handlers not to run the prescription (or if it was over the counter medicine), past the testers and inform them of the potential effects vs a drug test.

Surely there are basic procedural steps to take prior to this

Yeah. I'm kind of done complaining about shit, but those are disingenuous claims meant to distort. The goofy people here still think BJS needed help to outbox the amazing Lemieux. Kind of done with this place. Little more than a gossip Twitter feed for an endless stream of vented disinformation.

Facts, no matter how much you hate the guy: BJS has never taken nor would he ever take knowingly performance enhancing drugs! Why should he fornicating destroy what he worked his ass off to achieve since a teenager? There are no drugs that make you box better! The guy is in the physical prime of his life, there's nothing any of the shit bodybuilders (or the horde of self-image obsessed dickheaded narcissistic fitnessfreaks youtube is filled with)take to shred or puff up could give him, that would benefit his in ring performance more than a good clean diet and a hard camp! He had a cold and took a nasal spray to get air better through his closed nose. Get over it!

Is it not wise to refrain from jumping to all sorts of derogatory conclusions about Saunders’ situation until more is known?

So what do you have to say now, EO? Once again, you were wrong and the fight is off so lets see if you have any integrity in that squash of yours and you admit that you were WRONG and don't know half as much as you think that you do.

Well? BJS will be stripped as well. Do you want to bet on that too?

What was I actually "WRONG" about? Quote actual my words and then I’ll comment accordingly.

If I review this post that contains one of my quotes, then you can’t seriously expect me to admit to being "WRONG" about saying the following, can you?

You determined guilt simply because someone was accused (based solely upon the "no smoke without a fire" justice system), whereas I choose to presume innocence until proven guilty.

I can’t and won’t apologise for thinking this way.

I keep asking you to quote my actual words whenever you dishonestly attack me, but you nearly always refrain from doing so… and we both know the real reason for that, don’t we?

Billy the pull out merchant, found yet another way to let everyone down. Can't say he didn't arouse suspicions given how inconsistent he has been in the ring, up down up down has to pace himself then one day his most glaring flaw is gone. His mouth didnt help his case either. Hopefully he owns it and gets his shit together.
