Sticking to the credible parameters of the OP thus far largely ignored, in 2000 Lennie KOed Grant, Botha and a UD over Tua, a dominant year over somewhat weak opposition with Tua being the big name of note. We don't yet know his future, but we have his recent past of a one punch KO loss and then redemption against the dragged out of drug rehab McCall balling his eyes out. Never in anyone's all time ten, especially after tepid performances against hard heart retired Field.

With AJ, the project done gone platinum, now minting his own millions, sold out stadiums, 7-0 unified title record, and  5-0 entering 2018. Lennie never once defended his unified record that lasted barely a nanosecond, nefariously auctioning off his IBF belt to Ruiz and King. When Lennie was AJ's age, he was just starting his title years against coked out Tucker 6 years removed from his last title shot, Bruno, and some dude named Phil Jackson, not exactly a murderer's row. We don't know when or if the AJ bus ever crashes, but he's already fought the top guys of the division save the mentally ill Fury and #WeBeCanker still scrapping TBAs for popcorn money.

Physically both are top shelf, but mentally Lennie was always fragile, hence his slow rise to the top, but entering 2000 he's a settled 36 years old with two Olympic years, Gold Medal, 11 pro years, 10-1-1 title record, but AJ far superior than the best Lennie fought, a prime 28 and the big fav, ie; Hit the road Jack and don't you come back no more, no more, ie, Nevermore!
