Sure he can take one side as gospel.
People on here do it all of the time.
It makes them look foolish but nearly everyone on here does it daily
Fair point
Fellas, you're missing the main point here, which is... NO ONE FROM LUIS ORTIZ'S CAMP HAS SUBMITTED A FINANCIAL OFFER TO DILLIAN WHYTE FOR A FIGHT!
You're both more than welcome to criticise me on a personal level as much as you want, but NEITHER of you will be able to disprove that ONE SIMPLE FACT!
If I really am "foolish", then it should be easy to prove me wrong, shouldn't it? Let's see what you're both capable of?
Show us the contract sent by team Whyte.
That should be easy enough

I can provide numerous quotes from Hearn and Whyte claiming that they've previously reached out to the Ortiz camp instead, which have never been refuted by the Cuban's team.
However, nobody can prove that Luis Ortiz's handlers have attempted to make a bout between their man and Dillian Whyte. In fact, nobody from the Cuban's team have ever claimed to do so.
Those are the facts! NEITHER of you will be able to disprove them! You haven't even tried.
Let's turn the table around, shall we? I bet you cannot provide a copy of any contract for any fight that has ever occurred throughout the history of the sport?

EO my friend you are taking one team's word over the other.
We all do it.

No one from Luis Ortiz's handlers have refuted Eddie Hearn's and Dillian Whyte's claims.
Dillian Whyte may be pitted against Luis Ortiz on the 22nd December if Dereck Chisora rejects Eddie Hearn's offer.

I just found 3 articles with Hearn stating he was appealing the WBC order for a final elimination between Whyte and Ortiz.
Does that not constitute no offer being made?

That's two separate issues.
I already submitted a rather lengthy "War and Peace" lengthed post that contained an awful lot of details relating to the WBC's mistreatment of Dillian Whyte.
We do know that Eddie Hearn has discussed the potential of a bout between Whyte and Ortiz with the Cuban's camp. They may yet fight in December.

I would love to see them fight.
Hope it happens

Oh this could be fun. Hope Ortiz doesn't price himself out or Whyte bottle it.
Also means someone like Breazeale or Kownacki might move onto Wilder/Fury card as standby.

The fight won't happen if Chisora accepts Eddie Hearn's terms. Matchroom is using Ortiz as a plan-B.
A bout between Whyte and Chisora is commercially vastly "bigger" than Dillian facing Luis Ortiz.
I’d expect the Brit to defeat the Cuban if they did meet.

I honestly don't think Whyte/Chisora is as big as people think it is. It definitely won't make Whyte the £5m he is after and Chisora won't be fighting for a tiny percentage no matter what he claims on camera.
Regarding Whyte/Ortiz, it doesn't reach the final bell because of both of them have questionable stamina and enough power to knockout each other out.
