That's why, in part, legislation in boxing changed prohibiting managers from promoting cards with their talent, etc. It happened wayyyy too often. It was a complete conflict of interest.

I just thought it was necessary to point out some of the silly statements that you made which you had stated as fact; you have not really even tried to counter my specific points.

As for the conflict of interest point -Yes, if the same guy promoting refereeing, and judging the fight is the manager of one of the two fighters it gives at least the appearance of a conflict of interest. In this case, the guy (Dempsey) showed the integrity to judge the fight as he saw it.

I see hh is still peddling nonsense. It surely would make more sense for Dempsey to remove himself from the contest and rig it for his fighter. that way, you know, the guy whose pockets he's in makes more money. You post like you're arguing with yourself.
