We need dazn in Australia! Badly! I just don’t trust those VPN things if I was going to try to hook it up that way.. I would happily pay 10 dollars a month for my weekends to be consistently full of boxing. That would be a dream.

He's exclusive to DAZN,
DAZN aren't exclusive to him.

Re: Canelo Signs Multi-Fight Deal with DAZN
Matchroom doesn’t have an exclusive deal with DAZN, since there are territories not within the scope of that streaming service, such as the UK, whereby Eddie Hearn's promotional company works with Sky Sports instead.
Similarly, I don’t recall any media articles or proclamations being made by Eddie Hearn himself stating that there are contractual stipulations in place preventing DAZN from being able to work with other promoters without involving Matchroom. Please provide some sort of proof if you believe otherwise?
That being said, Eddie Hearn and Sky Sports does have an exclusive deal in place, whereby Sky cannot televise any UK-based boxing events without involving Matchroom in some sort of capacity. So any fighter wanting to compete on British soil and also have their bouts televised by Sky must work with Eddie Hearn.
For the record, DAZN and Sky Sports appears to have some sort of deal in place with Matchroom to ensure that both broadcasters can share the rights to televise each others boxing events, as they aren’t rivals, due to operating in different geographical areas.

Netflix can detect most VPNs I'm pretty sure DAZN would be able to as well having said that would they really care as long as you paid the subscription. Also the payment has to come from an American bank

DAZN isn't Netflix and I've read that it doesn't block VPN's. I could be wrong, but a lot of streaming services don't have the same protocols in place as Netflix does.paddy chavez wrote: ↑18 Oct 2018, 09:27

For instance, I was able to watch British streaming services (i.e. BBC, ITV, Sky etc.) whilst I was working in Norway.
If you're an Australian and want to watch DAZN, I'd do some research to see if VPN was viable and refrain from automatically assuming that it won't work due to how Netflix operates.
Simply put: not all streaming services have Netlfix's capability to block VPN's, as I'm led to believe VPN's may possibly work to access DAZN Canada, Italy and Japan (i.e. ExpressVPN, CyberGhost and TorGuard).

If you read what I wrote, I researched the fact that ExpressVPN, CyberGhost and TorGuard are supposed to work with DAZN in the Canada, Italy and Japan territories. I personally haven't tested them myself though, but I did recommend that the person perform their own research prior to ruling out using a VPN in Australia to access DAZN.
As I’ve said before, if you’d actually bothered to read my words, I have successfully tested numerous streaming services in various geographies via the use of VPN software. This clearly proves that many streaming services don’t block VPN’s like Netflix does!

I can read and I am well aware what a VPN and can't do I have used more than a couple myself but there is a massive difference between streaming free Geo locked content to a premium paid service like DAZN and I used Netflix as an example because it has a similar model I myself use express VPN and it can get to the signing up screen of DAZN but it won't go past that .Enlightened-One wrote: ↑18 Oct 2018, 11:07So basically you haven't a clue on how to read?paddy chavez wrote: ↑18 Oct 2018, 10:26So basically you haven't a clue weather a VPN will work or not.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑18 Oct 2018, 09:36

If you're using ExpressVPN, experiment by using different server locations. It is supposed to work but not for all of its server locations.paddy chavez wrote: ↑18 Oct 2018, 11:43I myself use express VPN and it can get to the signing up screen of DAZN but it won't go past that.

Edit, I just looked. Ok so that’s an additional expense plus I’ll need an international bank account.....I’ll just wait it out, see if dazn is worth it...worth all that trouble.

I'll say that I absolutely love DAZN..I was very worried about it at first. The first time I watched I had streaming issues.lazboy wrote: ↑18 Oct 2018, 18:57How much are they?Enlightened-One wrote: ↑18 Oct 2018, 12:17If you're using ExpressVPN, experiment by using different server locations. But that has worked itself out.

Quite the pick up from Dazn, they sound like they mean business.
I haven't signed up with them yet but I'm giving it serious consideration.
I'm not slagging them off but there has been issues in certain countries with buffering and the like so I've been apprehensive so far.

I get the feeling that they will sign big name boxers to short contracts and fight relatively easy ones for the next 12 months.
The brand name of the boxer will sell at least enough to cover.
