I'd have to take your word for it. I don't read his novels. Just the short stories.

When it comes to Heavyweight boxing I'm as good a resource as anyone you could find. I'm pretty well versed on that division's entire history--- especially the bareknuckle & early gloved era.

When I drift away from boxing that's when I seem to have arguments with people.
