Gorman does not appear to be anything worthy of top 15 hw.
The lads like 22 years old with virtually no amateur experience....
I dont think iv ever seen anyone call him a top 15 HW, hes a young prospect...
I don't see anything from him that leads me to believe he'll EVER be a top 15. His skillset is nill. And no equalizer. Perhaps I'm being too harsh, but we don't need another soft body gumming up the works. He's being pushed which is probably why I don't like him at all.

he doesnt physically look the part but tbf hes been pretty effective so far vs decent opponents for a very young hw prospect. one of the few to stop soko and destroyed turner early when hrgovic couldnt stop turner at all over 8

He can be hit and often. He has a lot to learn and doesn't appear to have a punch. He does have heart and comes to fight, so I'll give him that.

I've seen him training at the Hatton gym, he does train hard. He's not just in it for nothing.

disagree on the power oogi....hes one of the few to stop sokowlski and turner felt his power a lot more then hrgovics. a good body puncher too for a hw. seems not huge hitter but defo heavy handed

I've been wrong before (Tye Fields lol!). I'm just not all that impressed. Perhaps when he takes the next step up I'll be convinced. otherwise.

Sokolowski is fighting Webb this weekend.. Shame Webb's unbeaten record is gone, or 'ski would have taken it.

BTW - He decisioned Sokowlski and Ko'd Turner. Sokolowski lost a dec to turner (who was Dec'd by Hrgovic) and geez Sokowoski has quite the impressive record! lol!.

He looks quite talented, but he's not big for a heavy and while he may train hard his body shape does ask questions

Of yourse but he looks a lot better than a journeyman.
Always interesting to see the heavies step up, whether you are talking about a Larry O or Pele Reid who looked great up to area standard or a Price who was amazing at British level.

If he keeps coming to fight, at the very least, he'll be a good watch. The journeyman statement was tongue in cheek.

In comparing him to Reid or Larry O, Gorman is a far superior boxer, albeit a lot smaller and without the one shot power.

he did stop soko and had him down several times, soko is very durable, price couldnt dent him
turner went the full 8 vs hrgovic but got destroyd by gor
for such a young guy gors done well so far, he may not end up some world beater but i could see a euro title. we dont have to 'journeyman' everyone whose not amazing

The journeyman comment was tongue in cheek, and Gorman went the distance with Soko. 79-73 8 rounder.

I've been impressed with Gorman so far. He's only 22 so he's plenty of time and will no doubt improve.
He's the oldest looking 22 year old I've ever seen though! Looks like Minty from Eastenders

I just watched his first fight with Soko. He spent a lot of attention on his quaff! Like a baby chic, all fuzzy and stuff.

I'm a big enough man to give a second look. If Gorman can translate this sort of work into the ring, I'll be impressed. Nice sound on the pads!
