I agree that I think Joshua has actually improved more than Whyte has since their fight, but if Whyte does prevail against Del Boy, it’s about time he had a title shot isn’t it?

I’d rather it not be against Joshua because I think it’s clear AJ would beat him with a fair bit to spare again.

Can not argue with his run of form though.

Ideal world it’s Wilder but you just know it’s not going to happen. I’d prefer Pulev to Whyte just because I think it’s clear how AJ - Whyte goes and Pulev is a little different ( although Joshua will beat him comfortably too )

Of all the options, Whyte is the one I'd least want to see. Probably the only one I wouldn't consider getting a ticket for. Just can't see it going much different to the first one.

I think the HW division is in better shape than it's been for 20 years. Perhaps not in the quality of the fighters, but the number of evenly matched top contenders.

If I was Eddie, I'd probably go with Pulev for April, and try and bring Wilder (assuming he beats Fury) across for the Whyte-Chisora winner as chief support.

He's a big robotic truck. His left hook has certainly sharpened up and his power is a danger for anyone, but he's nothing special without it.

Whyte has came on leaps and bounds, his bodyshots are exceptionsl and his physique is starting to catch up with the super heavies.

If I was Eddie, my wildcard would be Brazeale- thus making AJ mandatory for Wilder, and since Stiverne was so long ago, after Fury (if Wilder wins) Eddie could push for a mandatory purse bid.

even if ajs not improving 60/40 seems overly generous to whyte, why do you make it so close? what changed bruh? a few months ago someone said they think whyte could beat aj and you said 'drugs are bad'. and youve also said whyte isnt world class and would get battered by luis ortiz, yet hes nearly 50-50 with aj?

what would you make wilder/whyte?

Yeah and what use would it be? AJ doesn't need to be mandatory for that fight to be made

When its Wembley then their isn't too many dates available at the time of year it can be made.

I think that's the case,title holders aren't ranked by opposing bodies.

the wbc has done some thing were they make other champs wbc mandatory, they did it with kovalev to stevenson and i think maybe another time. but i doubt team aj is looking at a wilder fight in the sense of 'lets force this', more like 'well do it when we feel like it as we feel like it'

Yeh.. one of Cotto or Martinez didn’t want to defend their WBC belt, so WBC had the Interim WBC belt defended. Rubio ended up with the belt. Then he fought with GGG and he won the Interim belt. So became mandatory for the real champion. Then Canelo won the real belt, vacated, making GGG the true champion.

I'd like to see Miller get a shot. I think he is skilled at fighting dirty. And poses a unique set of problems.

The wildcard is made up ffs. Everybody knows who he's fighting next

Really? Every time I've seen him I think he's terrible. A slow & plodding but admittedly powerful puncher who would look like a clueless mug against the elite of the division.

They're all pretty slow because of their size. He puts pressure on and forces the ther guy to fight and use up a lot of physical and mental energy. Can he do that while eating jabs from AJ? Probably not. But he sets a fair old pace for a big lad and this would make it interesting.

He's very good at moving in close and missing with a left hook that then clamps down on the neck so he can smash the right in.
