He was sandwiched in between Lebedev and Ustinov at the press conference. It did him no favours!

Scorecards were too wide. Yafai hasn’t looked good for a while now.

I think they scorecards a disgrace I'm sorry, I had Gonzalez winning 118-112, I can see 116-112 I suppose, ive not checked this thread since the fight began so I may be on my own here but I don think its even close, Gonzalez won that at a canter IMO, sharper, busier, worked the body excellently, landed some sharp right hands pretty comfortably, Yafai held his hands up and parried some shots but didn't had no head movement and got tagged continuesly

Yafai looked slow and pretty heavy footed which is not how he usually looks so maybe the weight was an issue but I personally hate weight complaints and never mention it post fight, he did look the stronger and landed some nice left hooks , think he hurt Gonzalez late on but not enough and too many rounds he waited until the last minute to start throwing punches, obviously the judges fell or it so fair play but I'm gutted for Gonzalez he was robbed IMO, he used his height and reach to great effect, Yafai couldn't really get in close, couldn't work the body enough and was a lot more rigid than Gonzalez who looked relaxed and fluid throughout

The only thing worse than the judging is the Matchroom FC team, Macklin was embarrassing , even Coldwell had Gonzalez winning but nearly shat himself admitting it

Poor effort from Yafai, very lucky to still be champ,if he cant get a unification next then he should move up to Bantam

Ustinov looks like a 7 foot version of my Granddad and both my Grandfathers died before I was born.

Poor from Yafai, I think he's deffo having weight problems .

Will lose if he steps up to genuine world level on that showing .

At least he was honest about a poor performance .

Can't believe Froch just said Hunter will have to fight the best he's ever fought to pull off the upset. He don't even know that hunters the favourite

Based off of recent events with Hunter accepting fights at late notice I’m sure Hunter would quite happily have it with Joe Joyce.

Hunter is well within the threshold to step down to Cruiserweight tho.

Hunter doing well.. let’s not forget Charr dropped Ustinov. He can be dropped easily I think.

Also, Ustinov is big, but he looks very soft.. he doesn’t look THAT big in their either..

Adam Smith on commentary chatting shït as usual.
