This was Fury's first real fight in 3 years that was not the best fury last night. Fury beats Joshua when they meet and last night should put any doubt to bed, wilder couldn't stop him so I don't think Joshua could either

I predicted points win for Fury last night, was kinda right on many scorecards except one of the judges who had a better eyeline.
I predicted Fury would tie up all night in a scrappy fight and get the verdict. My concern regarding a AJ fight is that fury had 3 stone advantage here and couldnt put Wilder away. Fury did far better than I expected but I still expected him to win the fight.
Fighting Anthony Joshua is a different kettle of fish. Fury wont have 3 stone, and he certainly wont have reach and height in his favour. Joshua can bang and if Wilder can put Fury on his back with only 15 stone behind it i'm quite sure AJ will hit him harder.
Can Fury outbox AJ for 12 rounds without getting tagged? I dont think so.

I've always thought Fury would beat Wilder but not Joshua and i'll stick by that.

Imagine Fury v Joshua on sky! Smith Froch and nelson would be talking like ( josh) was the only one fighting. Not sure Warren will deal with Hearn in the first place though

It was much the same with Rawling and Jones last night, Wilder got no credit at all other than the knockdown. The rounds were close in the main.

Bernstein and Malignaggi had it wide to Fury on Showtime.
On reflection, I think it's tempting to weight the seesaw a little on Wilder's side, because although Fury won more rounds none of them were big, whereas that knockdown will live in our memories.

I’m pretty sure he’s taller and has a longer reach than Joshua. There’s hardly anyone with the height and reach of Fury. That’s part of the challenge when fighting him, besides his movement.

The difference is that Joshua isn't a one trick pony like Wilder is. DW was just waiting and waiting for the right hand, which is all he has realistically, and he landed those big swings twice, almost ended it. Joshua has so much more in his arsenal, a better jab, brutal uppercut, a left hook, combinations. He'd be putting it on Fury, and Tyson would have to be coming back from a lot more than two wild swings that hit their target.
Avoiding AJ all night and boxing to a decision is fanciful thinking. He might nick a few rounds but gets stopped in the end.
For me Wilder has more chance of beating AJ.

No he didn't, Wlad turned in a great performance that night (here we go again).
Fury impressed me with his heart and recovery skills which were amazing, so the evidence is right there he can take AJ's shots, but he'll be taking a lot more of them than he did vs Wilder, and his bravery will only take him so far.

Wlad moved superbly against Joshua. He always had great footwork. He didn’t do too much moving usually because he didn’t have to. He could do it though.
I just can’t see Fury keeping Joshua off him. I was delighted with him last night but he still got dropped twice. Joshua will put it on him more than Wilder did, no doubt.
