I believe Hearn mentioned the possibility but surely it would depend mainly on whether team Usyk want to jump in at the deep end.

I still think it will be Dillian Whyte in April unless of course Chisora sticks a spanner in the machinery, or unless it finally dawns on Eddie that there really isn't a great appetite for Joshua v Whyte II in the UK at this time.

I don't know which boxing fans would prefer to see Usyk challenge for a HW title straight away, because of excitement of the unknown or whatever, but I definitely prefer these sort of fights to be properly built-up. If Usyk moved-up to heavyweight and gave us some evidence that he deserved a ranking just as high as the big 3 (e.g. by beating Ortiz, Povetkin, Pulev, Miller, or Whyte), then I would be a lot more interested in the big showdown, and the fight would have more significance. If a consensus #1 CW like Haye, Cunningham, Adamek, O' Neil Bell, moved-up in weight and lost to the HW champ in their first fight, you have to think "Hmm. How important is this win to the champion's legacy? I dunno, not very important, I guess." By the time Evander Holyfield fought anyone who had any dubious claim to being the true HW champion, he had already gone through numerous decent heavyweights contenders.

Is Warren promoting Hearn's fighters now then?

Of course it's possible, I don't see it though.

Klimas denied that they will fight Joshua next. He said that Usyk needs a couple of HW fights first.
