Ah come on! Brown got jobbed! Looks like a "Vegas decision" to me. -- Why did we even bother having the fight? -- oogiebe doesn't know a jab from a cross and Chrisjs1985 was bought off (and quite cheaply I might add). They let anybody judge these fights. -- Damn it, there's a bug crawling on me, . . . wait, . . . OK, got it. Who's on the next card?

Dixon receives all three votes(Might of been a little of bit of a mismatch). He will go on to the quarterfinals.
The next round will feature the legendary Jimmy Wilde vs one of the greatest Japanese fighters of all time, Fighting Harada.

We are now entering the fourth and final match of the A block first round. Whoever wins here will advance to fight George Dixon in the quart finals.
In the blue corner we have a two time World flyweight champion of the world Jimmy Wilde "The mighty Atom"! Standing at the height of 5' 2". He has 132 wins with only 3 loses and having victories over Sid Smith, Tancy Lee, and Joe Lynch.
In the red corner we have the former WBA flyweight world champion, and former WBC and WBA bantamweight champion of the world Fighting Harada! Barely standing taller than Wilde by 1 inch and having an impressive record of 55 wins 22 by knockout and only suffering defeat only seven times. He has victories over both Pone Kingpetch and Eder Jofre.
Now, without further ado LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!

This is a hard one because at what weight would it be? I went with them both as flyweights where I think Harada may outwork him for the most part but feel Wilde would perhaps get a stoppage sort of like Medel did in the first fight.

As I've not the knowledge that you do, I had to watch a few vids on Wilde. Difficult to make a pick, but Harada I knew and of his wins over Jofre which is what I went with.

I'm certainly more familiar with Harada and his footage and era. I try to read I can find on Wilde and admire his career greatly but there's not a great deal of footage. Gene Tunney once said “Jimmy was the greatest fighter I ever saw".

With 2 out of 3 votes Jimmy Wilde takes the win. He will be fighting George Dixon in the quarterfinals.
Do you guys want me to post a weight limit each fight, since that was a big issue during the voting.
