Terrible amount to be fair, given the boxing on display. I think Callum Smith will be similar to Brook & Khan, if they’re in a big fight, he’ll whack it on PPV. For me, Smith couldn’t fight anyone at super middleweight that would warrant a PPV headliner, bar GGG.

He should have dual headliners and a stacked undercard, I’d pay for Smith vs Ramirez and Whyte vs Usyk on the same card.

I haven’t bought any PPV’s this year, I’ve watched plenty, sometimes I go to a mate’s.

I don't disagree, although i like Whyte, he's never been world champion, and i didn't think much of Parker going into this fight either.

Was a great great night of boxing though... #JustSaying :box:
Was a good night mate yeah. I think that was DelBoys last stand there though. I think Whyte will stop him this time in 8.

Yeah Whyte is on the upward trajectory. I think his improvements in his physique will show vs Del.

I'll be watching the jackal anyway

Like i said earlier if its a fight i wanna see ill pay it,the BT ppv's upto now have been better than sky's imo.
Yeah in those terms, it isn’t so bad. But when it comes on top of all the other costs for Sky Sports / BT Sport / BN etc, it’s just a bit of a pisstake, especially when no other sport in the U.K. does it.

I know beetle,im in agreement with the cost of boxing ppv on top of all your sky sports/ bt sports /bn,its like boxing isnt classed as a sport but as a WWE type entertainment. Remember they tried to do ppv with the premier league, why did that flop? It was like £5 or £7 a match

That explains a lot.

Interesting this actually. I thought there were more than 6 Sky PPV’s this year. So AJ is always going to be PPV even if he loses. So that’s 2 a year for sure. The two Bellew fights were fortunate for Eddie, whyte v parker was done at short notice and the Chisroa fight was slightly out of the blue but I guess following the success of the whyte parker ppv whyte will now be placed as a ppv fighter. Incredible really for Whyte considering how he started out in the sport with no fanfare then a ban etc. Hes done great, and its deserved.

So next year, two AJ PPV’s, and then what? The desperation for Khan Brook from Eddie is clearly because he needs to fill some PPV’s. Otherwise it will be a stacked PPV Crolla Lomachenko, Usyk double header?

If AJ loses two on the spin then he is clearly struggling to deliver PPV’s and he’s already stated that his non ppv shows often lose money then could his empire be in trouble?

Gotta say Sky/Matchroom/Eddeh have done well with him.. I do think Whyte would need to fight a top challenger though for it to be a PPV.. The Parker PPV did not do bad number at all and due to how competitive the first Whyte-Chisora fight was, it was always going to be a PPV. He's making decent money. :TU:

If AJ even loses one fight, unless his next fight is a rematch, he should have one fight on regular Sky.
