No one wants to see Wilder face anyone but Fury right now, so who gives a rats a$$?keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 19:04Wilder also refuses to fight his number one contender.
not true at all, aj vs wilder would be plenty welcomedoogiebe wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 19:07No one wants to see Wilder face anyone but Fury right now, so who gives a rats a$$?
It wasn’t a duck. A proper duck is when someone is ordered to face another fighter yet chooses a weaker, safer route for less reward.
It’s a bigger fight. Just as Joshua - Fury would be too.
Joshua v Fury is a 90k sellout as is Joshua v Wilder. Fury v Wilder isn't.oogiebe wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 19:07No one wants to see Wilder face anyone but Fury right now, so who gives a rats a$$?
Mental comment. I’d imagine Tyson would bite his nose off on the street. He will be dirty, Big John will have drilled that into them all. Or taken his eye out.lillywhite14 wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 14:51He’d beat the shite out of both outside the ring, at the same time probably.mickey1975 wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 07:09He probably saw enough from the Fury fight to grow some balls.
No idea why he’d fear either in the ring.
Did Fury fear Price and Ustinov? He bottled them fights apparently.
Rematch clause was a guaranteed $30m. At least $80m for 2 fights.coneye wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 23:23 Surely people are not so stupid has to not think outside the box ,, Was the 50 mill offered , course it was , both sides confirmed it , But what about the other stuff , where was the fight going to be held , USA or UK , what about rematch clauses , , who was going to show it Sky , ESPN , Utube , , WHO , If it was'nt Sky would they sue AJ for breach of contract , and so on and so forth . .
It was all smoke and mirrors , , Now for me the main question is will Wilder duck this one with Fury , it was obvious they took Fury thinking they were grabbing a easy win and scoring brownie points for negotiations with AJ , but it backfired so now there in the position of AJ or Fury sort of box position you could say .
UNLESS.... Fury demands the rematch is in the UK , then Wilder is stuffed , he's just admitted to the world AJ and Hearn have approached his management and are desperate for the fight , Aj holds 3 belts and that alone says he should get at least 60-40 , if he (Wilder) does'nt take that he's blatantly ducking ... The only reason Fury should take a rematch in the states is bigger money ,, but he constantly says he does'nt care about money , so why go to the states , If Wilder refuses the UK it will be seen has a duck .
This admission of AJ being desperate for the fight really has shot himself in the foot , his handlesr should'nt let him any where near a microphone
He wouldn't fight Wilder in the ring for $50m and you think he'd fight Wilder and Fury at the same time for nothing!!lillywhite14 wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 14:51 He’d beat the shite out of both outside the ring, at the same time probably.

Take a breath man. Joshua and Wilder just haven't agreed terms that's all. Both sides have made offers, none of which have been accepted.BigDoofus wrote: ↑13 Dec 2018, 03:50He wouldn't fight Wilder in the ring for $50m and you think he'd fight Wilder and Fury at the same time for nothing!!lillywhite14 wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 14:51 He’d beat the shite out of both outside the ring, at the same time probably.

His dad might be a bully but we are talking about blokes of equal size and strength here. Big John wouldn’t be so bad if faced with an equal match, much less so if he was faced with a bigger foe...

Wilder was also offered big money. They just couldn't agree terms. No one's scared of anyone. It's boxing. They'll share a ring this April.BigDoofus wrote: ↑13 Dec 2018, 08:07Your argument is straight out of the playground.lillywhite14 wrote: ↑13 Dec 2018, 06:32Joshua is from da streets, Tyson is soft by comparison and was quite sheltered as a kid wasn’t he?mickey1975 wrote: ↑13 Dec 2018, 03:41

It's a boxing forum. You might fantasise about Joshua out of the ring, but the fact is that $50m couldn't get him in the ring.

It's a shame how Bowe ended up, he was arguably the most talented heavyweight of that era but he let that twat Rock Newman have too much influence. Great fighter when his head was right.J wrote: ↑13 Dec 2018, 08:55I Think that honour belongs to Riddick bowe https://www.nytimes.com/1992/12/15/spor ... -belt.html
I spoke to Bowe last year and he said, "Rock thought we were bigger than the WBC,"banjo wrote: ↑13 Dec 2018, 09:12It's a shame how Bowe ended up, he was arguably the most talented heavyweight of that era but he let that twat Rock Newman have too much influence.
