Too big a mouth for being untested, no matter whose fault it might be. We really don't know how good or not good he is. I suspect he's looking for a big baby payday. AJ will beat him; Wilder will spark him; Fury would toy with him. He has yet to be tested.

Jarrell Miller has clearly stated that he's not interested in facing Dillian Whyte. He declined an opportunity to face Kubrat Pulev. The American also ruled out several other potential opponents as well, when he mapped-out his future plans to go down the WBA route prior to his guaranteed shot at AJ (i.e. he'd prefer to face the likes of Charr, Oquendo, Bryan etc. instead).

Miller's own words:

“I want that WBA belt. I get more bragging rights and I can take it from there... You get more bargaining [room with the WBA title].”

There are multiple videos and articles detailing interviews with Miller admitting these points.

That is a pretty safe route to Joshua I just don't know who is really taking big risks in the division as to why Miller gets singled out. Wilder and Fury are fighting each other. Nobody else is really doing much.

Andrade will have his way with Akavov. Decision wide.

In heavyweight action Nkosi Solomon (1-1) notched his first win as a professional by scoring a four-round unanimous decision victory over Cade Rodriguez (2-4, 2 KOs). The official scores from ringside were 40-35 x 3.

The 6’3’’ Solomon scored the bout’s lone knockdown by dropping Rodriguez with a monster counter right hand in the third round. Rodriguez beat the count and tried to get back in the fight landing a bruising overhand of his own to get Solomon’s attention. In the final round the 24-year-old Solomon tried to put Rodriguez down on the once more but the Georgia-native was resilient enough to stay clear of Solomon’s right hand.

For the 23-year-old Solomon, originally from Guyana now living and training in Brooklyn, this is his second professional bout after signing with Matchroom boxing following a highly decorated amateur career. In a shocker, Solomon lost in his professional debut last October in Chicago when Matt Cameron dropped him twice en route to a unanimous decision victory.

In the opening bout of the Demetrius Andrade-Artur Akavov world title undercard, Washington D.C.’s Cornell Hines (4-0, 2 KOs) defeated Fahrud Fatulla (1-3) by a four-round unanimous decision. The official scores at ringside were 39-37 x 2, 38-38.

The 25-year-old Hines had some good moments in the second and third rounds but was unable to muster enough combinations to really hurt Fatulla. Hines took the foot off the gas pedal in the fourth round allowing Fatulla to smother him to the ropes. Hines managed to sneak in an uppercut counter punch to keep Fatulla at bay until the final bell.

I'm also watching now. It's looking like another Andrade snoozer.

Akavov fights a lot like Klimov. Lots of movement, not a lot of fighting.

What an awful fight. Saunders definitely didn't train because Akavov is barely European level. This is an awful performance considering Culcay did a lot better.

2 bad stoppages, bad matchups... take out the dramatic loss from Linares and it's a pretty bad card

Lazy performance by Andrade. Guy just doesn't look capable of pushing forward.

I'm fine with the stoppage - Akovov lost every round, the ref should have waved it off at end of 10th. He wanted to at end of 11th but Akovov did nothing but eat shots while running in the 12th. He didn't deserve to see the final bell.
