Dean Francis. I was a massive fan of his style when he was coming up, was gutted when he got his nearly career-ended injury and obviously even more gutted when he tragically passed away far too young.

I liked Mark Reefer and Miguel Matthews.
Miguel is a good pal, top bloke too, hard as nails.
I always liked watching the Booth brothers even though Nicky wasn't a nice bloke. Jason is a real nice guy.
Growing up in the 80's there was a lot of British fights on the TV, probably people who would never get any coverage now, Prince Rodney, Jimmy Cable, Mo Hussein, Laing, Rocky Kelly, Pat Cowdell , Mark Kaylor, Rod Douglas, lots more too

I was on the same bill when it happened, top bloke, from a fella who seemed like he had everything, his life fell apart in every way since that fight, a real shame.

Danny Williams all time favourite.
And all always liked Howard Eastman too - hard to fathom why - boring style and little charisma, but I was a fan for some reason

Golota probably fits the thread. He's actually a well-known character, but he's not much popular due to the nature of his career's lowlights. However, I've always liked Golota.

Golota is a perfect example of what could of should of been. Talented guy but had a screw loose

He seemed to have all the tools except one thing. To quote Monte Python, "Tom's problem was that he had a small particle of brain trapped in his skull."

Used to like watching Tony Collins, always in a battle, also Bert Cooper and James Hughes liked a good scrap.

Golota sometimes couldn't act rationally, if he failed to do something under the pressure.

Bennie Briscoe from Philadelphia (I mention Philly as Briscoe represents everything that Philly has given the sweet science).

Great shout. I was actually really fascinated watching him and how he adapted his style to accommodate his shoulder. A fantastic example of battling adversity and making the best with what you have

Used to love watching Kieran Farrell in his short career, real throwback who left nothing in the ring. Unfortunately for him he met someone identical in Anthony Crolla that night!
For a different reason I did follow Liam Hanrahan who boxed under Dave Coldwell for a couple of years before having to retire on medical grounds. Classy fighter and was enjoyable to watch.

More recently Jason Easton was pretty exciting to watch. Think he's ran in to some trouble with the police for assault recently so I'm not sure what's happening with him.

I like any boxer who's name sounds like a swearword.
You know, them ones from Asia with a name like Dong, Fuk, Wang
