As for Wilder hits harder than Pele Reid kicks...never! A kick is so much harder than a punch, generally speaking. I suspect even Wilder can kick harder than he punches, and that’s without any real training.
Ok wilder probably hits harder than the kick that knocked vitali out lol
No.

You sir just read my mind. :TU:
so what r ur picks bruh
Fury is all wrong for Vitali. Fury by ud
Joshua has a good chance at a close ud
Wilder only has a punchers chance. But with the way Lewis cut up Vitali a stoppage by cuts would not be a shock

Bloody hell is it 2012 again?

Behave men for god sake. Vitali & Lewis would walk through Wilder & AJ.

Fury is a different kettle as he's a freak in the sense nobody of that size has ever moved like he does. I think both would be able to work Fury out and hit him on a more regular basis wearing him down, then I don't know? Fury has never really been 'beaten up' at the top level....

In fact, Big John McD was the last bloke to give Fury a good slapping if memory serves me right? Different Fury now though.

Regarding Vitali's record.

He lost to Byrd as he dislocated his shoulder. He was well up on the cards.

He lost to Lewis when he was Cleary up on the cards. It was turning towards Lewis, who knows how much the eye played a factor in that, but there was no way he could continue. Lewis retired rathe than rematch. That speaks volumes...

He was in a pure era, but it was clear to those than know that he was much more capable than his era. He beat what was on offer.

Please not again,it's a new year, lets move on,Lewis had been a pro 7 years when Vitali turned pro and was 6 years older when they fought. It was a very tough fight, one which could have gone either way so after a long career who can blame Lewis for deciding he didn't want the rematch,he won,end of story :TU:

Agree with you on Lewis, but Vitali? Why would he walk through Wilder and AJ? When your best wins are over middle aged never-beens Corrie Sanders and Shannon Briggs, you don't have much leverage in debates of this type.

I don't get the excuses regarding Byrd and Lewis. He didn't tear a rotator cuff scratching his arse, he hurt himself missing Byrd's head. Byrd's defensive moves decided the fight, and that's boxing. Score cards mean nothing if your opponent has injured you sufficiently to make you quit on your stool, saying (and I quote) "It's hurts too much." Byrd beat him. I note Vitali never much fancied a second go at Byrd, and yet it's only the lost Lewis rematch that is ever discussed regarding him!

As for that Lewis fight, I don't think any of us have the stomach to discuss that one again, but FFS when your fists leave a man's face hanging off his head and still it's not good enough... You have to wonder about people. 'If he hadn't been cut--' He was cut. That's what happened in the real world fight. He got punched in the face to the point where medically he could not continue. That's losing. He lost to Byrd. He lost to Lewis. And then it's a colossal drop in quality between those two and the third 'best' opponent he fought, one he actually managed to beat.

I really can't say. I can see Vitali absorbing those rights, and I can see him get hurt from taking too many. He wasn't exactly a defensive guru with his arms at his side for the most part. I just don't know.

Johnson was a terrific survivor, only ko'd twice and later in his career. I'm not saying Vitali was better than Wilder, but just being fair. No one said Vitali had any skills over his brother, just the chin and durability. He was a thudder.

I think vitali was better than wilder. He was a slapper, not a thudder and he would definitely struggle to land on guys the size of wilder and Joshua. Johnson definitely survives first and foremost, but he didn't even take much punishment.
