I thought that fight was a draw, possible a slight edge to Joshua. The announcers, tho, were so obnoxiously biased I turned off the sound.

If Dychko honestly thinks he is ready to fight AJ after an 8-month layoff then his management team are not the ONLY ones who are delusional. AJ would chew him up & spit him out right now.
Yes, it's silly. It's just talk. He's not going to get the Joshua fight.
I FOUND HIM! Facing 48 Y/O Ray Austin

Ivan Dychko, after a long layoff, will be back in the ring on May 5th against Ray Austin of all people, in a scheduled 6 round bout. This once promising prospect hasn't fought in nearly a year and is now taking on an almost 50 y/o while his fellow prospects are all developing with every fight. This fight will tell us nothing about the big man, and I'm almost about to unfollow him as he's becoming clutter in my watch view. Dychko will be 29 years old in August. This is his eighth professional fight.

Dycko has worst management .. he was 22 years old when fought 23-24 years old joushua .. and i think he beat joushua in Olympic. joshua has progressed but younger Dychko has put his career on hold such a long time

Has to be horrible management. It's fast becoming too late for him.

The BoxRec schedule shows Dychko returning to action vs 48-year-old Ray Austin on May 10 in Florida (where all his pro bouts have been). Hope it's correct!!

Fück!! Ray Austin is back.
Why can’t these Olympic prospects fight other younger boxers that will want to win?

He's now sheduled against Raphael zumbano in July. Atleast he's back to being more active but these fights show no ambition.

Good one!!
Fact is that I am NOT an Englishman and not an AJ fan either. My prediction was made long before Joshua got exposed by the Mexican Jellybean.
Apparently you never make bad predictions. Experts like you should be involved in the PTBF prediction contest.

According to the schedule, Dychko has an opponent now, and it's
Nate Heaven. THE Nate Heaven. In case you don't know who Nate Heaven is and need to look him up, he's 9-2, hasn't fought since 2015, one of his losses was a TKO 1 against 15-15 Stacy Frazier, and his best win is against Donovan Dennis. Fight is scheduled for 07-12. But don't bother following-up on the result, just assume that Dychko wins it by KO 1.

It seems that he's got a history of robbery, larceny, probation violation, etc. But I couldn't determine that a particular arrest was keeping him away from boxing after 2015.

Legal Troubles and Arrests
In 2007, Heaven was arrested along with his brother, Willie, in Ocala, Florida, and charged with the armed robbery of three stranded motorists, two women and a male. Both Nathanael and his brother were allegedly armed when they approached the driver who had opened the hood of the vehicle. One man struck the driver with an assault rifle, while the other jumped into the car and grabbed a purse.[1]
In 2010, Heaven was arrested and charged with first-degree grand larceny. [2]
In 2011, Heaven was charged with the burglary of an unoccupied dwelling and for dealing in stolen property. [3]
On January 19, 2014, he was booked in Ocala, Florida, on a parole violation. [4]
The purpose of this fight for Dychko is WHAT!?

In fact they could save time by just entering it now, KO1. I guess Dychko is going noplace fast. And why does "Heaven" get out of jail so quickly?

In the amateurs, Ivan Dychko has won two silvers and one bronze in the world championships, including two bronze medals in the Olympics. The Kazakhstani competed in 199 amateur bouts, losing only 18 of them, which includes victories over the likes of Zhang Zhilei, Filip Hrgovic, Erislandy Savon and Efe Ajagba. So he’s a prospect that deserves our attention.
After a ten-month enforced layoff, due to issues with his promotional team, he’ll be participating in his second bout within a nine-week period. And it’s great to see him trying to make up for lost time.
I’ll give Kazakh the benefit of the doubt, since he’s entitled to participate in a couple of straightforward tune-ups to clear the ring-rust prior to progressing onto more challenging opposition.

If you kill someone 1st degree, you'll probably be out within 7 years.
Heaven hasn't committed murder (at least one that anyone knows about) so his quick in-out appearances behind bars is pretty much the norm.

I'm not sure what people are expecting. Dychko's first nine have been just fine for a HW, especially in 2019. He missed some time due to promotional issues but his first nine opponents are better than Wilder or Ruiz and close to Fury and AJ. Just cuz Joe and Hrgovic are being moved a little faster doesn't mean Dychko's doing it wrong.

Ilya, your first points in an earlier post were more spot on. Dychko had a great am career and should be way ahead of where he is at this point. He'll be 29 next month and doesn't show much improvement from the start of his career. He's going nowhere.

fury turned pro at 20
wilder at 23
the dyke is 29 or something, so its a bit different. at 29 fury and wilder had both won world title. dyke should at least at minimum be moved like arslanbek has , with some solid prospect testers in there
