This fight is as close to 50-50 in my opinion as you can get.
This is not the same Pac of 5 or 10 years ago![]()
I was speaking to someone on here about Broner being a lesser version of J Clottey. Although Manny peppered Clottey all night, he couldn't down him and used a huge amount of energy, constantly on the offence (If I remember correctly). At Mannys current age I don't believe he can keep up that type of work rate. Maybe Manny won't approach it like that but its the only similar situation I can recall. If Mannys activity has dropped, Broner can have success. I also just flat out don't believe the Lucas Mattysse fight. The punches that Manny threw didn't seem to have much on them but had a huge effect - looked strange.
I'll will give Manny credit if he does a job on Broner, I think its a very solid win given his age and I'll look more kindly on the Lucas M fight but we will have to see this one first.

He's certainly not terrible, just a bad style and a fighter out of his league.lazboy wrote: ↑17 Jan 2019, 20:05Honestly asking - Is Broner that terrible? I'm thinking it will be competitive or he'll do a bit of damage, all relating to Mannys advanced age.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑17 Jan 2019, 14:44 Broner has the slimmest of a punchers chance. The fact that he can't counter is a huge problem against Manny.

Would prefer to see Mayweather vs Broner.
A Floyd-Pacquiao rematch hit its expiration date immediately after the first drab affair.
Broner certainly has the talent to beat a faded Pacquiao. The question is does he have the mental makeup to let his hands go.
Broner vs Mayweather would have an entertaining buildup, with an interesting backstory considering their relationship.
I hope tough guy trainer Cunningham has gotten through to Broner and convinced him it's time to throw caution to the wind and make a statement.
If Broner loses another drab decision then he simply becomes a gatekeeper.
At 29, he's too young and talented to fall into that category.
I'm hoping that AB finally digs deep and makes a compelling last stand on Saturday.
