100%. But they can skip Charr/Oquendo and just have Miller/Bryan, and save us a lot of time. IMHO,
Or have Miller go through Bryan and Charr to become mandatory. I don't like Hearn's public negotiations with Whyte so I'm not sure that gets done.

oquendo is 45 and hasnt fought in nearly 5 years, and you give him 8 weeks notice, rough. If ever there was a need for a 15 week camp this is it. But to be fair this entire thing is a joke and will probly end with miller adding 2 more pathetic names to his resume and in return getting the most useless belt in boxing, WBA regular... (even though manny and canelo currently have a WBA reg its still trash.)

I think possibly the most interesting fight out of these guys in terms of the result being in doubt, might be Charr v Bryan. I think Miller beats them both and they both beat Oquendo. Bryan is interesting because we don't know as much about how good he is as we do Charr.

ESPN: Fres Oquendo’s soap opera relationship with the WBA heavyweight title could finally come to an end this year. ESPN reports that his bout with the freshly unsuspended Manuel Charr will take place on March 23rd in Charr’s hometown of Cologne, Germany, just barely squeezing past the sanctioning body’s 60-day deadline.

I cannot believe that this is actually taking place. It's rare that I have zero interest in a heavyweight fight, but this is one. Both Oquendo, and to a lesser extent, Charr, have no place fighting for any belt, much less fighting at all. A true must miss.

Who's going to pay to watch this debacle? I'll wait to see when/if Bryan vs Miller takes place.

is WBA one of those colombian soap operas?

No Dagi it isn't as believable and doesn't have the gravitas of a Colombian soap-opera.

In the year 2085 Fres Oquendo will still be signing and then having WBA fights cancelled.

Good matchups if they happen. Regardless of who orders it.

Charr v Oquendo has been re-scheduled for 23rd of March. Hope the bookies allow bets on whether or not this fight happens.

According to their rankings updated on 1st Feb, the WBA regular interim shot against Bryan would go Miller > Whyte > Joyce > Wallin > Rivas.

Hmmm...so it would be a swap of Whyte for Miller. Whyte could conceivably win the WBA regular title and face AJ late in the year as a mandatory, and one with a belt (a shvtty belt, but a belt nonetheless)

But the WBA Regular belt would be irrelevant because AJ is the WBA Super champion.
If AJ won the fight the WBA Regular title would immediately become vacant again - as happened when Wladimir Klitschko beat Alexander Povetkin.

I would not mind seeing Whyte go the WBA route

Personally want him to go the WBC route because we've already seen him Vs Joshua. If he beats Wilder then him Vs Joshua would be huge. Joyce getting in the title picture would mix things up though.

WBA mandatory will be called in the second half of the year so could move around by then,.
