Ray Leonard dropped Wilfred Benitez with a jab in the third round; Marvin Hagler got Caveman Lee going with a right jab and finished the Hearns classic with a lunging jab.

I'm sure kell Brook stopped someone with a jab
I was gonna post this but I have no idea who it was either.
It was relatively recent - JoJo Dan maybe?
Hector Saildver ..... I think that's how you spell it

Winky Wright Hurt Felix Trinidad with a jab in the first round of their fight. It stiffened him and sort of set the tone for the whole fight.

I'm sure Michael Watson stopped Nigel Benn via a jab to the chin if I remember rightly. The stoppage punch wasnt a brutal ko punch that we normally see.

Yeah Benn was that tired I didn’t take much to put him on his back

Molotor v somebody. Name escapes me but I remember him turning a guys face to mush with a jab. I'll look around and find it
I love when a name from the past crops up, and I pass a while watching fights. Steve Molitor had few good showing on TV, little trip down memory lane for an hour or so.

Ike Quartey had a fantastic jab, hard and fast and he hurt plenty of people with it but not sure he ever knocked anyone down with his jab, left hand, yes.

First knockdown in Terry Norris-Simon Brown I was off a jab.
Was a solid shot but Norris had already been clocked by some awful right hands & right uppercuts (& a couple right uppercuts to the body that should've broke his ribs)... like a lot these jab knockdowns it just seemed to jar Norris so badly he never really recovered. Brown KO'd him in the 4th.

Lupe Pintor dropped a surprisingly competitive Jovito Rengifo with a jab in the eighth round of a bruising encounter in Las Vegas in 1981 and referee Joey Curtis called a halt when the Venezuelan made it to his feet. Curtis twice asked Rengifo if he was OK and the fighter ignored him so Curtis did what he did, even though many remember Curtis for stopping Mike Weaver prematurely against Mike Dokes. Another great fight is the one between Victor Callejas and Loris Stecca in Italy in 1985 in which the gifted Callejas, who ultimately wasted his talent, is rocked to his boots by a beautiful straight left from Stecca but Callejas rode out the subsequent storm and came back to break the Italian's jaw and win on a retirement.

do you guys count it as a jab if the fighter throws a rear hand straight, then comes back with the lead straight to drop the guy (so a 2-1 combo)
cause its a straight with the lead hand but has more body in it, seen kovalev acore a few kds with that and hurt some other guys

personally, i think this sort of situation requires some nuance. Pongsaklek used to land that straight right hand very effectively and often, for example.

I think I remember Amir Khan's legs do a little dance when Prescott landed a jab about 20 seconds before knocking him out.

honeyghan vs breland.
3:31 knockdown.
That was a sad fight, that's when you know what spark he had was no more.
legs never recovered from initial knockdown, maybe they were never there in the first place. looked totally shot

Just watched that back for the first time in years, some of the worst refereeing I’ve ever seen allowing Khan to continue in that fight.
