Evander Holyfield was liked by most people I think and no-one played the pantomime villain role better than Ricardo Mayorga

Yes, I read his autobiography at Christmas. Good read, he speaks highly of Manny Steward (another popular person)

Maybe. Carl had a habit of rubbing people up the wrong way, then redeeming himself in the ring.

Chuvalo and Andries are good names. Maybe Cobb? From the UK I don't think anyone disliked Benn as a fighter (as a man's another matter), and then there's Clinton, Herol, and Cat. Woodhall's easy to find annoying at times, but hard to hate. Ogogo's likeable.

I've never heard anyone say anything bad about Catley, and although not especially liked, Francis was widely respected. Maccarinelli (post-Haye), Hobson and McKenzie were all well-liked as far as I know. Scrap Iron?

Davies came across ok when he first turned pro, but seemed to turn into a complete dickhead overnight a couple years back.

Broner tries to play the villain, but isn't dangerous/skillful enough to play the part with any real menace (ala Tyson/ Mayweather)

I actually think Davies is alright.
