It won't do nearly as well as FMJ Tenshin. No one knows who Davis is, and the last show was a blowout.

It might sell in Japan if they do a good job of the 'revenge' angle but the rest of the world didn't even care about the FMJ nonsense.

Of course this bout won’t attract anywhere near as many viewers as Floyd’s exhibition, No one is claiming otherwise, but millions of people will watch it nonetheless.

In terms of you claiming Floyd’s exhibition was a “blowout”, what do you mean by that?

Is Tenshin Nasukakaw better than Kenichi Ogawa and Masakuki Ito IN BOXING? Both are 130 pound fighters, Ogawa beat Tevin Farmer (Me and many others thought Farmer Won) but it was changed to an NC after Ogawa failed a drug test. Ito is the Current WBO Champion.

If Mayweather wants Davis to get Japanese exposure, why not fight one of these 2 Japanese Boxers rather than a 125 pound MMA fighter? Unless Tenshin is better than those 2 (I don't see how he can be)

Tenshin was visibly upset after the Mayweather ordeal. Fair enough he lost and was stopped but controlling your emotions is important to the fight game and the Japanese are a proud people plus he became a sort of social media joke.

If his thinks this is redemption he’s looking at the wrong opponent. When/if he loses to Davis someone should put him on suicide watch - there’s a Forrest for that kind of thing in Japan.

Can ignore Ogawa and Ito and ask if he's better than Sueyoshi, Mishiro, Watanabe, Osato and the answer will be the same. No. No he's not as good as any of them

Another way Floyd is killing Tanks career. This kid needs rounds. Boxing rounds against better talent. This kid still hasn’t been tested or pushed. This idea is a joke unless it’s just a money grab. Tank has s family now so I’ll never fault a guy taking care of his family by any means but if this is for Floyd’s new love affair with Asian currency for his own gain then I’d advise Tank to drop Floyd altogether.

Floyd ain't doing this kid any good. You're right in alluding to him needing more development and in-ring experience. He has bookoo talent and power. Let's hope it's not wasted. FMJ must go.

Agreed, but this is just one more example of bad decision-making on Davis' part. A joke circus like this in Japan does nothing for Gervonta's development as a fighter but pads his pocketbook. I chalk this up to the kind of ignorant decisions thugs like him make in everyday life.
