The only thing that could go wrong in this fight for AJ is the pressure-size of Miller. It could be suffocating and demoralizing to see a 'walrus' like Miller keep coming at you and take your best shots. I hope AJ is gonna sharpen his jab and his footwork.
I think the first stiff shot Miller receives will change his entire approach to the fight. This fight is levels up from any fight he's ever had. It's going to be shocking to him and he'll be pounded to dust.
I hope so. Miller looks like a much bigger version of Tua, size wise. It will be interesting to see how Miller is gonna take AJ's first solid shot.
Tua was a more sound boxer and had exceptional power. Tough to make that comp, IMO.
Just said size wise, not boxing skills. Miller's physique is big.

Aj looks 'skinny' compared with Miller. I wonder how much Miller weighs?
About the same as an Argentinosaurus.
Miller is a lard bucket and he is going to find out very quickly that hauling all that lard around against top flight opposition is not really a good idea.
Yeah I think AJ plans to punish him via brutal stoppage. I must say Miller acted like a lunatic and the ol' gettho- afro slavery bs that Wilder played too became so cringey and lame. But yeah Miller succeed to rattle AJ.
When did miller mention slavery you crazy idiot?
You stupid wuss, it is in the context of the same ol' rap where these mofos are lame themselves and act like victims when they are not.

If anything, Miller's antics will just motivate AJ even more.

If AJ gets butt hurt just dealing with this 300lb cherry pick, Fury would rip him apart. I doubt Cheesebuggy is good enough to pull off the upset, but if he can avoid getting hit cleanly enough to get that barking walrus act going, smother Aj's punches in gravy if you will, force that second wind out of Joshua, maybe we got a fight... Joshua is getting sparked, probably not by tons of fun Miller, but it is gonna happen. Eddie is trying to contact Thanos now, probably low balling an offer to get one of those snaps directed at Wilder & Fury.

Jarrell Miller’s side-by-side training montages compared to AJ’s are very interesting. The American superficially appears to be fitter and stronger than the Brit:
It’s not just the strength aspect of Miller’s weight training regimen that is impressive, but it’s his ability to perform lot of powerful and fast reps, which must require impressive cardio levels to execute.
I might have to revise my original prediction, because I thought Joshua would stop ‘Big Baby’ during the mid-rounds, but if the American has a decent chin, Miller could pose problems to Joshua during the championship rounds (since we’ve seen AJ briefly appear gassed-out in previous fights).
Miller isn’t simply a fat slop – he must be deceptively athletic, despite his physique. He'll likely lose to AJ, but he won't be outclassed and his defeat won't be due to any lack of conditioning.

He does appear to have good stamina and work rate. I agree with that.

AJ should have struck him the first time he said something about his mother. He will be fine though so long as he wins the fight.

This isn’t the first time AJ has come up against a mouthy wannabe gangster type… last time it seemed to get in his head, AJ- Whyte ended up in a bit of a brawl, he didn’t look great, there was barely any head movement and he was wobbled briefly in the 2nd round… If Miller is getting to him and AJ is bottling it up, the game plan might just go out of the window again

I can’t imagine Anthony Joshua being riled-up by Miller’s showmanship. Jarrell is using trash talk to sell the fight, his antics are simply a marketing ploy, since these guys don’t even know each other.
They may pretend that they dislike each other, WWE-style, but their on-screen antics are purely for the cameras.
Even if Miller was genuinely trying to annoy Joshua, the Brit is far too experienced to be affected by the American’s exploits, since AJ has already “been there, done that, bought the T-shirt.”

Do these guys not have coaches? That video was painful...

I wonder what weight Miller would be if he was as fit as AJ or Wilder. 240/245?

Miller has a much larger frame and structure than either AJ or Wilder, he's always be bigger than them. He seems to be training like a big guy rather than a boxer which must be why he looks the way he does.

He's shorter than both by 3" to Wilder and 2" to AJ. He is big framed, but the fat makes him appear bigger IMHO. Seems his 300+ LBS is part of his approach.

Miller is very strong. He's built more like a powerlifter than a boxer. They used to discourage boxers from doing heavy weight training saying it would make them musclebound and slow. I think that the number one exercise that I did to develop my punching strength was pushups.

He's overfat and overmuscled for his profession, but his frame is still larger. His hands, wrists, look much larger than AJ and Wilder has a very small structure outside of his shoulders.
I've never thought much of Miller, but if that video is indicative of his training then he has very little chance of beating AJ. He's surrounded by other big bodybuilder types and performing many exercises that are either wasteful or counter-intuitive to what he should be doing. Seems like a big guy who decided to fight and is blessed to have been in one of the weakest eras in history. He needs a legit strength and conditioning coach ASAP.

someone needs to find millers fight vs excell holmes where he weighed 255
any low weights for him in kickboxing?
hes obviously caring too much fat but does appear big frame, at least very few guys around his weight/height combo appear as 'solid' (i use that term loosely), most look a lot worse.

Funny, I had looked a while back for some "lower" weight Miller fights and can't find any. Checking kickboxing is a good idea.
Looks loose. A lot of skin! lol!

Miller takes punches - and kicks - very well.

A 263lbs version of Jarrell Miller:
If Miller looked like he had loose skin when he was much lighter and younger, then this suggests that he may have dramatically lost a lot of weight quite quickly (around the time those videos were published). And he's obviously regained it, as he no longer has loose skin. He's probably one of those blokes that doesn't have the genetics to be a slim guy.

He started at 250 but he was 20. With his frame, I'd say no way he gets below 260/265
