I saw it the way I saw it. Must you always be so obnoxious and self aggrandizing?Eolaithe wrote: ↑25 Feb 2019, 13:38Toney officially won the fight 117-109 x 2 and 116-110. James didn't even need to drop Jirov in the final round to win that contest.
HBO's scorecards don't count and neither do our own. Most fight fans thought Toney won, he didn't have to "turn" things "on it's head."

So when a fighter is winning handily and then it's turned on it's head, literally.
thats the beauty of the game
Jirov never dominated Toney when they fought. It was a competitive fight that the American was leading. And James didn't have to resort to desperate measures to turn things around either.oogiebe wrote: ↑25 Feb 2019, 13:59I saw it the way I saw it. Your perception of Toney having to "turn" things "on it's head" in order to beat Jirov (who you claim was "winning handidly"), just seemed odd to me.
I'm sorry if that upsets you, but I paid attention to the thread topic and I also recently watched the Jirov-Toney bout. It is what it is.
You don't upset me. You are just annoying. Go watch the fight. Respect others' opinions. Change your name again!Eolaithe wrote: ↑25 Feb 2019, 14:06Jirov never dominated Toney when they fought. Based on what the ring doctor and the referee stated, Littles only needed to survive one more round to win that fight, because Toney was being stopped otherwise if he didn't KO his opponent in the fourth round.

The scorecards are irrelevant when a fighter is only three minutes away from an inevitable loss, don't you agree?![]()
Littles was not handily beating Toney. Your perception that being down on the cards and being badly hurt in the third round somehow equates to Littles handily beating Toney is irrelevant.
