Whyte is ripping the piss out of Hearn

Still, Hearn has (completely undeservedly) made him think he’s a PPV fighter and an elite heavyweight, whereas in reality he struggled massively with Chisora ffs. So Eddie only has himself to blame; he’s created a perception that Whyte is worth far more than he really is.

Fury/Pulev wouldn't help any popularity drive. I'm interested in seeing Arum's moves over the next year or so. Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part, but I do hope boxing's popularity here in the states accelerates. I was spoiled in the late 60's, '70's and 80's. My casual friends were all into when the HW's were fighting and that led to lower weight classes gaining popularity back then.

My friends were into all divisions feather and up. None of them watch at all now or could name a heavyweight.

I'm all for fighters earning as much as possible but I can't help but be confused by the narrative Whyte is trying to create of being poorly treated by Eddie. As Maverick said, Matchroom have done an excellent job with him.

Yeh. Apparently he over-priced himself when DAZN and PBC were offering him a deal.. and PBC like throwing money..

Lucky for him, ESPN look to be building on their stable of HW’s.. and have had a bit of cash injection.

No question boxing is booming in the UK. Our pubs show the UFC.

Heard has made and promoted Whyte as a PPV fighter, therefore he has to pay him and treat him as a PPV fighter, simple as that.
If he is charging the public to watch him, Whyte needs to have his cut and opportunity.

Whyte to probably fight on a Matchroom card in July it is then.......


If he gets made WBC mando and the WBC order the Wilder v Brezeale winner to fight him within a set amount of time then that really pins Wilder into a corner as he's been dodging Whyte like the plague for ages.
