I saw an interview with Barry in which he said Josh stank of booze,
He probably did. And his dad too.
I dnt like these kinda antics. It’s make me not want to vote for the guy.

lol i dunno, but does warr usually act like that at pressers etc?
He tends to talk shit in the face to face and try and intimidate. Nothing wrong with that tbh.

"I want to go on and unify the division – believe me I'm the best featherweight in the division," Warrington said at a lively press conference in Leeds.
"But, as a champion, this is what you have to do. Barry is in my way, he's in for a very hard night and that title is staying in Leeds."
"This sport is hard enough, people go in the ring and out their lives on the line. Some don’t come out. The last thing we need is someone trying to take that extra inch," he said.
"He makes no remorse. He's been banned. The sport doesn’t need people like that, we need characters, entertainers. We do not need people like him."

Don’t think Barry has the punch power or physical strength to keep Warrington off him. I find it hard to see past a mauling for Galahad.
Would love to be proved wrong though if for nothing else but to shut up those Leeds chavs!
If you asked anyone who has sparred with him they would tell you Barry has incredible physical strength. Unless Warrington has another "injury" he loses his title.
Thanks for the inside info. Hope Barry gets the job done
Really ?
You're cheering for the drug cheat just because Warrington has some stupid fans ?
FWIW I predict...
A boxing masterclass from Barry bamboozles Warrington, only to get stiffed on the scorecards.
A bit like a more watchable, high-tempo Froch vs Dirrell.

Intriguing fight. Just think the size of Warrington - it was a major thing in the Frampton fight and Galahad is another ex Super Bantamweight.
Warrington takes him lightly though or is not 100% then it could be very interesting as Galahad is world class IMO and could give any of the Quigg, Frampton, Warrington, Selby (I know he's moved up) combination a few things to thing about. Just think his lack of strength and power will be the ultimate factor. Warrington WPTS. - something around 116-112, or 115-113.

Frampton is a small featherweight. At the presser yesterday Galahad looked the bigger man.

Ye, galahad looks like he has more weight to lose than Warrington, he won't be the bigger man on the night. They're both the same height

I might remember the fight incorrectly, but I'm sure Jazza dickens gave Barry something to think about, and he s a Vauxhall conference Warrington .

Dickens bossed the fight for I think 7 -8 rounds then gased. Then kid got the stoppage from memory

Dickens got knocked out in the 10th. If he had managed to survive the knockdown and got to the end of the round, he would have been behind on all the cards, in spite of Galahad's point deduction.

Height wise, Galahad looks bigger.
Warrington looks bigger round the midriff

They need to rake some money in to pay Galahad his $584,500. Dom Ingle was hinting that Galahad will get the bigger purse.

I’d imagine Galahad is getting more than Warrington in real terms. There’s no way Josh is getting his full percentage of the split from the winning purse bid.
The IBF’s relatively recent rule change regarding the percentage splits for mandatories has fooked Warren over. IBF rules now dictate 65% - 35% split of the winning purse bid in favour of the champion. Previously it was a more generous percentage split in favour of the champion, which Warren thought he was getting.

So FW offered $1.67m for the fight whilst Hearn offered $1.44m.
Both strong offers. Split was 65-35 so Galahad is getting $585k which is a right result for him!

No. He was moaning about the split percentage before the purse bid. Now he's moaning about it after the bid.
If Warrington is forced to get the short end of the deal, would another hand injury surprise anyone?

I’m sure BT have enough funds to put up the purses. It’s around £1.2 million.
ESPN have rights on the fight in the US. They’ve obviously put some money in.
Warrington is a good ticket seller in Leeds and i’m sure Galahad, who doesn’t live far from there will be able to sell some tickets too.
Truthfully, if the fight was to take place on BT PPV, they would need 80k buys to cover the purses alone.

Seems odd to be appealing the splits after the purse bid. On a couple of interviews, Hearn said he'd overbid and the winning bid was more.
