Eye on the ring fans score the fights.
All had it 87-84. I had it 86-85.
There is no arguing rounds 5,7,8 Bakole won.
They were clear rounds. Numerous close rounds including round 2 that I also scored for Bakole.
If not for the injury anything could of happened.
But the injury d's happen and I give full credit for the win to Hunter.
But don't act like it was a cake walk because that is revisionist history

at most bakole won 3 rounds of 10 and then got stopped, he was well beaten. uk commenatry had him winning 2 rounds, just like me.

it was a comfortable win for hunter

i have never seen anything about this razor thin fight and good performance by bakole until the last day

i thought bakole looked clueless for the most part vs hunter. didnt really hear talk of him boxing well and it being a close fight until after bakole beat wach the other day. seems a bit of revisionism to me. even the uk commentary had hunter well ahead. bakole did not look good at all imo in that one.
Not sensitive, just curious. I didn't think Bakole looked as bad as you put it. Hunter did better than practically everyone thought he would at the time. Bakole kept going after the one big punch, rather than try to box. If that means clueless, than so be it. I have no dog in this fight. I was just surprised at your reaction to other posters, including myself.

lol what was so surprising. you act like ppl making different points are attacking. if someone says they thought bakole was super close and boxing well, whats the problem with saying nah

LOL! I thought we were done here.

Nothing is wrong with disagreeing. Throwing "revisionism" in there just seemed a bit much as you imply people are changing their view (i.e. being hypocritical). Just state your point. I had hunter up but I saw it closer than you. I'm not going back on anything I've said before, then or now.

nah, it wasnt too much of a challenge for hunter, even the scores cited somehow as evidence only gave bakole 3 0f 10 rounds in a fight he got stopped

gilgamesh wrote: 07 Apr 2019, 12:03 That is a big win. Wach is no world beater obviously, but he's a hard man to stop so getting a KO win over him is a noteworthy achievement indeed.

I would think this is gonna be the end of the line for Wach.

Yes i think so.
