Yup.
Canelo I - MD for GGG
Canelo II - Draw or it could've gonna either way.
Yup.
Totally agree mateapollo creed wrote: ↑28 Apr 2019, 05:08 Contrary to what some people think I believe that GGG's main ability is his boxing skills. He had to neglect that in the past because he had to appeal the public with the 'mexican style' to gain a big market share. If he goes with a trainer like Buddy McGirt or team Loma, GGG would be able to give us some good performances against good opposition. I agree that in the Jacobs fight, GGG didn't look spectacular but he edged it with that knock down. He tried too hard to T/KO Jacobs and it didn't work.![]()
Deffo mate. I thought that at the time. Jacobs is no mug and was boxing well. GGG should've just boxed. He must've had the Pirog fight in his mind and thought he could walk through Jacobs.apollo creed wrote: ↑28 Apr 2019, 05:08 Contrary to what some people think I believe that GGG's main ability is his boxing skills. GGG won that but it didn't look like in the Lemieux fight. Also I think GGG fought the best version of Jacobs with those TKO wins over Quillin and Mora.
Yup. GGG showed his fine boxing skills. That was the real/natural style of GGG and not that forced 'mexican style'.kbackup408 wrote: ↑28 Apr 2019, 13:15 That GGG performance against Lemuiex was special - rod of a jab broke him down completely!
He's a solid contender but nothing special.
More fringe. I mean he was top 10-15. But shocking how many people rate him. Most overrated puncher in a long time.tiny_acres wrote: ↑28 Apr 2019, 13:53 He's a solid contender but nothing special.
He has a good fan base is the best thing about fighting him
Lemieux would beat Quillin.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑28 Apr 2019, 14:10 More fringe. I mean he was top 10-15. But shocking how many people rate him. Most overrated puncher in a long time.
Maybe, your point?
Somebody mentioned Jacobs KO of Quillin. I think Golovkin's win was more impressive.
Oh, it wasn't me. They're same level. Jacobs was more surprising, I knew lemieux had nothing for GGG. They could fight 100 times and he wouldn't win a Rd.boxing_rocks wrote: ↑28 Apr 2019, 14:24 Somebody mentioned Jacobs KO of Quillin. I think Golovkin's win was more impressive.
Can't stand the prick!

I had to set you straight on andrade, son. Lemieux wouldn't land a glove on either of them. Get your eyes straight.apollo creed wrote: ↑29 Apr 2019, 04:10 LOLWith that win over N'Dam N'Jikam and that crazy KO of Curtis Stevens, Lemieux is above Jermall and Andrade at 160 lbs. Get your facts straight!
You're talking out of your as.s based on nothing. What opponents Jermall and Andrade schooled at 160lbs that are better wins than Lemieux's wins over N'dam and Stevens to prove a glimpse of what you're fantasize ? Kautondokwa, Centeno Jr? lolOnetimeonly wrote: ↑29 Apr 2019, 08:16 I had to set you straight on andrade, son. Lemieux wouldn't land a glove on either of them. Get your eyes straight.
Lemieux is fighting at 168. So why don't you start a thread about how nobody has ever seen him fight?apollo creed wrote: ↑29 Apr 2019, 08:47 You're talking out of your as.s based on nothing. Apologies for butting into someone else’s debate, but Lemieux’s victory over Hassan N'Dam took place almost four years ago and the Curtis Steven’s win happened more than two years ago, with the American never being classed amongst the top-ten 160lb-ers by The RING or ESPN. It's not a particularly impressive victory.apollo creed wrote: ↑29 Apr 2019, 04:10 LOLWith that win over N'Dam N'Jikam and that crazy KO of Curtis Stevens, Lemieux is above Jermall and Andrade at 160 lbs.
