Boxing is only a business-oriented sport. No one should pretend otherwise.

I’m surprised the WBC keeps allowing Wilder to say such things without imposing some form of punishment, because he’s blatantly breaching their rules.

But they are very quick to ban a backwoods Bulgarian boy from boxing for 12 months - twice Big Baby Miller! - for - Omygod! - kissing an innocent little virgin...naked sushi queen!

Athletes also lose weight gradually when they stop using PED’s. Take a look at some of the UFC fighters that were monstrous behemoths a few years ago, but have gradually shrunk to having the physiques of mere mortals.

I’m not saying Wilder is a drug cheat or anything like that, but history tells us (as per Miller) that some of the biggest complainers of other fighters using PED’s, are actually using themselves.

For all I know ‘The Bronze Bomber’ could be clean, but he has been consistently losing weight since the WBC announced their ‘Clean Boxing Program’ (CBP).

Is that purely a coincidence, who knows? :o

I think you need to be educated on the meaning of the word “consent”, as well as how to obtain it.

Even a prostitute can still be “sexually assaulted”, if they weren’t willing recipients of the sexual predatory advances of the males that forced themselves upon them.

Do you happen to have a criminal record by any chance, because I’m not sure how you’ve managed to survive avoiding receiving a custodial sentence?

Pulev committed a sexual battery.

Wilder just said something politically incorrect. Hardly anything that needs to be sanctioned.

Too much handwringing over Wilder's embrace of verbal bravado and feigned indifference to an opponent's well-being.

If you enjoy a sport built on physical violence, the use of mere words and threats should seem pretty tame in comparison.

Yes, just a load of empty rhetoric - on all sides.

That after fight embrace between Wilder and Fury seemed pretty genuine to me.

Well you didn't fall for their weekly savage presser assault on each other, did you?

Especially when they were later photographed in the back area, chatting away and sharing a drink.

Boxing is built on BS.

A lot of British super-middleweights have inflicted serious brain injuries on their opponents, including: George Groves; Chris Eubank Sr.; Chris Eubank Jr.; Nigel Benn; Herol Graham etc.

And then you see fighters with pugilistic dementia, such as another former super-middleweight like James Toney.

I’m sure we are all capable of naming fighters that have either died or received life-changing injuries as a direct result of competing in our beloved sport.

When you combine these tragedies with the WBC’s rules about bringing the sport into the disrepute, then you surely must appreciate the seriousness of Wilder’s claims, even the if it is simply proverbial hyperbole.

If Wilder’s promises ever came true, I reckon he’ll either commit suicide or at the very least be severely mentally traumatised to the point he’ll strongly consider taking his own life.

is this sarcasm or do you really believe he'll commit suicide or will be considering it?

You're a sick man! Wilder is around 225 in camp right now.

I believe he’ll be traumatised about killing someone.

Do you believe that he won’t be?

If you ever killed someone, would you be unaffected by such a traumatic situation?

Wilder strikes me as more sensitive than he'd like and spouts the bravado as a plan.

How many fighters have ever committed suicide after fatally injuring an opponent or severely injuring him?

I know of none. I can't see Wilder being the first.

Like I posted. He'll be affected but won't commit suicide.

..I don't have the luxury of having experienced it personally...I would assume most people will be traumatised but not necessarily to the point of committing a suicide or even considering it..

I found it hilarious when asked how he felt about what Tyson said, Lewis shrugged it off and said, "I don't even have children."

How many fighters have repeatedly iterated their desire to kill someone, but have actually managed to do it?

What we do know for sure though, is that all fighters that have either inflicted life-changing injuries or even killed their opponents’ were severely traumatised by their experience.

This situation would surely be magnified significantly for Wilder based on his previous boasts, coupled with having delivered on his distasteful promises.

There’s plenty of media articles detailing his emotional distress about this situation.

Saying he wants a body on his record is something outlandish to say to grab attention. It may also scare his opponent. We already know what type of power he has. Whether the intent is life ending (which I highly doubt) or not, the potential for a life altering outcome is there, either way. So, it really doesn't matter what he says, just as long as he listens to the ref and abides by the rules.

I don’t believe boxers should be allowed to say anything they damn well want, purely for the sake of self-promotion. Especially in a sport where tragedies happen.

A line has to be drawn somewhere.

Wilder has repeatedly claimed about one of his ambitions to kill someone. And if he ever manages to do it, then I’m pretty sure people would be highly-critical of him.
