Do you not keep up with boxing, Hart’s moved up.apollo creed wrote: ↑19 May 2019, 03:45 I have the feeling this is gonna be a long wbo reign for BJS at smw! Yildirim, Fielding, Chudinov, Ryder, Truax and maybe Hart at best for BJS. Although Hart may be his no. 1 mandatory.![]()
Now that BJS won that smw wbo strap, how many stiffs he is gonna fight to keep it safe?

We have Tom Loeffler corroborating Saunders’ account of events.
Billy Joe also attended the Canelo-GGG press conference and iterated the same claims to the Mexican and the Kazakh’s faces, in front of the world’s media, and neither man refuted his assertions.
I think Eric Gomez also confirmed some of Frænk Wærren’s claims also.
I’ve had the discussion on this forum on multiple occasions and posted videos and interview transcripts proving Saunders’ claims.
Yet people continue to ignore what transpired, perhaps because the evidence doesn’t support their preferred narrative.
And in terms of me relishing the challenge, it’s because I’ve had the same discussion on numerous occasions that I’m able to easily copy/paste the evidence and my words without effort.
People generally don’t like Billy Joe Saunders, which is fine by me, but I find it a tad bizarre for many of the same individuals to live in denial, by ignoring any real world facts that contradicts their thoughts.
Why do people do that? I’m no fan of Billy Joe either, but it would be wrong for me to pretend that Saunders didn’t sign-up to face GGG twice, when even Tom Loeffler believes otherwise.
I’m not sure about you, but I don’t need to see the damn signed contract, when both sides of the negotiating table confirm the same facts!

I’ll just search through some of my old posts on this forum instead. Perhaps you should do this also to prepare your counter argument?apollo creed wrote: ↑19 May 2019, 12:02 EO is probably now in the truffle hog mode searching on all the internet for a evidence about that.![]()
If you honestly believe that I can’t prove my claims, then say so now and let’s see what happens!

You are just a bored-attention seeker who likes to instigate and twist the debates on the threads. When you get caught with this b.s you like to twist it and play your cheap-false objectivity card.
So do your truffle hog work better and put the links with the media talks of both sides and with BJS showing that signed contract. Also the official rejections/excuses of those A-sides to not fight BJS! I challenge you to come with some irrefutable solid facts!

This is just one of my many posts detailing the first time Saunders had signed a deal to face GGG:apollo creed wrote: ↑20 May 2019, 01:23![]()

Here are some of the details of the second deal that Sauders had signed to face GGG:Enlightened-One wrote: ↑06 Jun 2018, 10:36 Click on this hyperlink to read the entire article:
"Positive news for Gennady Golovkin vs Billy Joe Saunders"
Earlier this week Saunders made it clear that a fight with the unbeaten Kazakh needed to be signed by Friday, or else he would pursue other options. His promoter, Frānk Wārrĕn, backed up this deadline to Boxing News.
Yesterday, Saunders tweeted a picture of a brief online conversation he had with Golovkin’s promoter, Tom Loeffler, a few weeks ago and insisted he is “moving on” after no major developments occured.
Then watch this video of Saunders saying the following to GGG's face:
"I was supposed to fight you but talks broke down between me and your team... I'm very interested in the fight. My bit was signed to fight you but for some reason you lost your pen!"
Tom Loeffler and Gennady Golovkin made no attempt to undermine the claims made by both Billy Joe Saunders and Frānk Wārrĕn.
Frānk Wārrĕn and Billy Joe Saunders were in close proximity to Gennady Golovkin and Tom Loeffler (in the very same room) and neither of them disputed any of the claims being made by the Brits.![]()
"Gennady Golovkin reveals he had a deal to fight Billy Joe Saunders if Canelo Alvarez talks broke down"
"How close was I to moving on to another opponent?," Golovkin wrote in a blog for HBO. "I actually had. Golden Boy gave me a deadline to accept their latest 'final offer.' They were very public about that too. I had a deal in place to fight WBO champion Billy Joe Saunders in August and I was planning to start my training camp in Big Bear..." Tom Loeffler's words.
Do you need more proof of Saunders signing-up to face GGG twice?

EO needs to be in the P4P list - that evidence was on POINT!

Re: Now that BJS won that smw wbo strap, how many stiffs he is gonna fight to keep it safe?
During 2016, Frānk Wārrĕn negotiated a deal with Oscar De La Hoya that would involve Billy Joe Saunders appearing on the undercard of the Canelo-Smith bout, which was subject to certain conditions, with a view for the WBO champ facing the winner of that bout, but GBP reneged on the terms of the contract and Billy Joe's chances to face Saul Alvarez vanished into thin air.apollo creed wrote: ↑19 May 2019, 03:45Now that BJS won that smw wbo strap, how many stiffs he is gonna fight to keep it safe?
Later on that year, GBP actually lobbied the WBO to instate Canelo as Billy Joe Saunders’ mandatory challenger, which they agreed to do. So the Brit was obliged to face Oscar De Lay Hoya’s Mexican cash cow, but Alvarez very quickly changed his mind and renounced his status, preferring to face Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. instead.
During 2017, Saunders had signed a contract to face GGG after his team had agreed the terms with Tom Loeffler.
In order to facilitate the fight, Frānk Wārrĕn had to pay Avtandil Khurtsidze a six-figure step-aside fee, coupled with having to agree to stage a bout for the Georgian against Tommy Langford for the WBO interim title, in order to get him to agree to step aside to allow Billy Joe to face Gennady Golovkin instead, but the Kazakh ended-up “losing his pen”, due to receiving a bigger offer to face Canelo for their first bout.
When the Golovkin bout fell through, Saunders agreed to face Avtandil Khurtsidze and the date for the bout and the venue was set. However, the Georgian then withdrew from the fight.
The following year, Tom Loeffler stated that a deal had been reached for Golovkin to face Saunders if the talks for the rematch with Canelo broke down.
So Golovkin refused to face Saunders on two occasions, despite deals being reached twice and Billy Joe agreeing terms. Regardless of the reasons, GGG refused to accept guaranteed opportunities to face Billy Joe Saunders on two separate occasions.
During mid-2017, David Lemieux admitted that had to refuse an offer to take on WBO middleweight world champion Billy Joe Saunders on September 16th, 2017.
On the 7th July, 2017, Lemieux stated that he “really wanted to fight [Saunders], but the timing is not good for me because we are aiming for a bigger fight and the risks are high…"
At that moment in time, Lemieux was targeting a bout against Miguel Cotto.
Team Saunders also submitted three offers to Chris Eubank Jr. for the rematch (£800K & £900K and apparently a seven-figure payday), which were all rejected.
Saunders had also signed to perform a mandatory defence of his title against Demetrius Andrade, but this fight fell through when Billy Joe controversially tested positive for a substance that was banned by VADA, but not by WADA, USADA & UKAD.
It is believed that Billy Joe’s suspension from the MSAC & the WBO also scuppered his opportunity to face James DeGale, which had been in the pipeline for quite some time (as 'Chunky' had appeared on numerous Frānk Wārrĕn cards).
If Billy Joe Saunders ends up engaging in multiple disappointing WBO title defences against lacklustre opposition, it won’t be because he’s unwilling to face anyone half-decent!
